Play on Extreme. Do not enter Erewhon! Skip the main story, and pretend you are truly stranded. You are a mercenary, and need money - 100,000 Skell credits, That is your goal. Play that way and you get the real feel of being truly alone in a very hostile environment. No selling or buying at bivouacs - no vehicle spawns. No fast travel except between bivouacs. I love that set-up, as you are alone and must be very careful how you engage the enemy. And you have a simple goal - get the money! It makes for a really exciting playthrough.

Extreme with the spartan mod. Spartan mod changes everything. It makes you rethink every engagement. A single shot can make all nearby patrols come in from all directions and engaging you at long distances. It's excellent.

Story wise I like Wildlands a lot more because your actions changed the whole world drastically, Breakpoint it does as well but not nearly like Wildlands. Customization and overall gameplay wise Breakpoint is insane, although the story isn’t as repeatable I still enjoy it and have a lot of fun just absolutely getting into all out firefights in the restricted zones. And I like the rebels a lot more in Breakpoint especially when you unlock the missile support option

Great review. I've been playing Ghost Recon games since 2001. The original from 2001 the foes were not bullet sponges and neither were you! Unlike the other bullet sponge games of today.

I love both ways to play it. It's very fun as a looter shooter. It's extremely fun to just roam. Stealth is great as well. It's just extremely fun.

Yup. I just bought it this year. I don't like the "story" at all, the whole "stranded/survival" thing feels more like FarCry, but the gameplay is phenomenal. And I'm a huge fan of gameplay OPTIONS and the devs came through big time when they included this in the major update.

How the hell did you get past the red River part, where the camp is situated under a bridge for the train. Been stuck for 6 weeks and keep getting killed by either a drone, the guys in the camp or guys in vehicles. Please help with any suggestions or a walkthrough, what am I doing wrong. Thanks.

Fr this games is better when u look at it as a indie mil sim so many options for features in the games from gunsmith to rations grenades your clothes the drones character stats enemy stats hud elements completely mappable buttons 60 fps on ps5, everything is much more responsive.

And of course dont forget install the mods, almost every day in half of July 2023 some modders always give us any new mods or either update the older mods they created. Sad how this game updates ended but glad to know this game getting mods from modders around the world. I wish i know how make mods in this game, i willing to change goofy animation while our character walking

On my 4th playthrough. One of my fave PS4 games tbh. Have barely touched RDR2 as I worry Ubisoft will shut down the server for Breakpoint (I only play the story mode solo with A.I. squad) making the game unplayable

They ever fix or add a rifle tac light toggle? It was immersion breaking sneaking behind someone with NV on but tac light is on as well which is unrealistic when immersing in stealth gameplay. Other than that this game is preem.

Like your playstyle man this is how I’ve enjoyed playing it but what has made me not want to play recently is I keep getting the relics of the ancients notification and when it pops up the only thing I can do is hard reset to clear it.. wait to load back into the game then spawn somewhere else every time. That really breaks it completely for me and it pops up randomly in between missions or loading into the game. I’ve googled and tried turning notifications completely off and it still does it. I don’t know what else to try but it’s broken for me. Has been for a while and I read ubi is not making anymore updates or fixes for the game. I’m pretty sure I even completed that mission already so idk why it’s bugged out. Not many others seem to mention or have that problem it seems. Just don’t know what to do about that. Cool vid though man. It is a good game. I have enjoyed the time i have spent with it. Just wish I knew how to fix this relics of the ancient notification that locks my entire game up.

Can you please help me with some parts that I'm stuck on that walkthroughs don't help. Stuck on "follow the ticks" where you kill some guys at a house by a river, cross river, kill another guy and bend down to look at the blood trail, then make your way up a winding path on a mountain. Get to a prisoner, and to free him you access a laptop beside him but nothing happens. I think I have the sequence wrong. TIA. G

I still believe that Wildlands is far superior for a number of reasons, and I was so disappointed with Breakpoint upon release that I uninstalled it soon after... I've reinstalled and uninstalled a number of times because the reasons for my disappointment remained... However, I started looking up videos on Breakpoint within the last 3 or 4 days - I don't really know why I decided to, but I'm glad I did because I could already see that some things had changed. I reinstalled the game the same day and have been playing it since. I'm happy to say that I'm officially addicted, and I agree - it is worth a second chance, especially on Xbox Series (and probs PS5 too?).

It would be great if the certain camo you choose the harder the enemies detects you depending on the environment. Jungle, Snow, desert etc., just doesn't make sense if your wearing colorful colors in the snow and the enemies still can't see you

the only reason this game is worth playing to me is the mod community. The ones I use: gear customisation for battle belts and plate carriers --- NECESSARY it makes them actually look good radios for additional realism additional hairstyles, faces, and tattoos (beards too) additional / worn camo variants more patches realistic weapon sounds etc.

I have over 300 hours in both Wildlands and Breakpoint. I LOVE the open world approach where you choose where to go what to do. That said, Wildlands felt superior just because the world felt real. Civilians nervously heading in the opposite direction when they see 4 operators emerge from the bushes, people going about their daily activities etc just makes the game feel more organic. My dream game would be Ghost Recon set in such a world, but the player has more tactical control over the squad. Little things like CQB and not clunky AI in interiors and such.

Got this game recently.. but it is so overwhelming. It gives you so many options that I really can't tell if I'm playing it "correctly". there is so much UI elements that it is just insane. it is really hard to figure out what to do or how to not miss anything. I feel like they overcomplicate stuff. all I need is a mission and a location, gear and that's it. all of this side stuff is just too distracting and the UI is wayyy to much complicated. when it comes to gunplay it is ok but the third person camera usually throws me off. also the first person ADS looks really bad. and bullet velocity feels off. anyway.. I which they will come back to the roots. it seems like everything today is open world.. and games like this really SHOULDN'T be open world.

@@deliberationroom Yessir! Authentic Warfare changes the sounds of certain guns and also while suppressed. Spartan mod changes the enemy engagement, making it more challenging. Theres good videos on it by Gmoney Mozart (RU-vid channel). There are other mods, but those two are fundamental for a challenging-authentic playthrough.

Man, putting your faith in Ubisoft????? That's like giving a crackhead $20 and having faith that he'll buy groceries like he said. But you're right, Breakpoint is definitely worth a play. And I say that even though I didn't like wildlands, and avoided breakpoint at launch for obvious reasons. I just started playing a week ago and if you're a stealth fan, Breakpoint is a fun one. Also kind of sad when you see all of these great stealth mechanics like sync shots, yet the game is still scarred from its initial release as a cash grab live service co-op p.o.s. This could easily be a stealth gamers dream with a little overhaul but let's get real, it's Ubisoft. So keep your expectations for the next game extremely low. Maybe they'll surprise us?

A lot of complaints in this comment section, but I have zero. This game is amazing. And it is not easy on the hardest difficulty like people say it is, not for the casual gamer anyway. Mastering stealth definitely has its benefits, but if that gets easy for you, try going in guns blazing and I guarantee you’ll find your challenge again. Set personal limits as well. No helicopters unless you steal one, no fast traveling, etc. It’s great.

Absolutely not! Took 45 minutes to connect to online to even play single player. Triend going coop with my cousin and he couldnt even connect

@@deliberationroom Not sure if the online community is active, but like always it still requires internet connection for any play mode etc. That sucks.

I'd say the game is pretty average. So much of the gameplay is janky as fk. Mounting any object doesn't have the fluidity it needs. It's quite telling that the game needs 'influencers' to generate fake popularity
