Am I the only one that thinks this anime will have a sad ending?

A1 pictures dont get enough credit. They brought us consistent masterpieces over the past few seasons like 86 season 1 and 2 , Love is war season 3, Engage kiss and now this.

Been waiting for you to cover this anime Chibi and my wish has finally been granted. Its such a fun series, although I got a suspicious feeling the second half is going to be gut-wrenching (the total opposite of the 1st half). Loving Takina's development and really looking forward to how Chisato's influence will change her as a person in future episodes Also, Chisato best girl of the season

The production for this is amazing. Its not just the action animation but also character animation, mechanical animation, cloth, hair etc have so much detail. And 2d guns! 2D! and detailed so well! Its been so long since I've seen guns this well animated. A-1 has given this so much love, hopefully the same can be said for Solo Leveling.

Its so great to see this anime getting the recognition it deserves. Also fun fact: Hideo Kojima accidentaly watched this anime because he mistook the title for another thing. He watches the first 3 episodes and now he gets addicted and hyped for the upcoming episodes

The chemistry is definitely a big factor even factoring the yuri feel (at least it doesnt feel too forced). Chisato being a dense ball of sunshine energy and Takina that tries to act like a pro while being socially awkward is fun to watch. The gunslinging part....ok you need to leave your brain on the shelf while watching but it's anime, its EXACTLY what we want lol, so that makes it even better.

Yes chibi, i already know. Chitose is just so bubbly and when shes in her mode she turns into john wick with her pistol. I really like the mix of wholesome, action and comedy on this anime. Again chitose best girl

Finally it happened Also, the train scene was very deep. When they were heading towards DA at the beginning, it was raining which implies Takina's internal emotion, and they were sitting facing each other. But when they were going home, the rain stopped and we can see a beautiful sunset moment which implies how Chisato brightened Takina's mind, and they were also sitting by each other meaning Takina really get closer to Chisato. One more thing in the later train scene that many people who don't understand Japanese really notice is that Takina threw away the honorific "san", she called "Chisato" instead of "Chisato-san" and that's what great about her and their chemistry.

someone on the production team is a gun geek too, lot of the gun handling is pretty well detailed and authentic. The suppressor scenes sound like an actual suppressed pistol not some generic pew pew hollywood BS. Even the PKM Takina uses in E1, the audio they use is an actual PKMs cyclic rate. I saw that it was a PKM then when I heard it, yea thats a PKM

This far lycoris has completely exceeded my expectations The characters feel like they have some dimensions to them, the action is solid, the chemistry between chisato and takina is extremely good

I am almost certain there is darkness in Chisato's past, and perhaps she was once much like Takina was - and I am almost certain her darkness revolves around the destruction of the comm tower that has become such a symbol of the city. The reason why I suggest this is because when she talks to Takina, it's as if she's talking from a place of experience. After all, Chisato implied that as a Lycoris she once had the same goal that Takina and every other Lycoris had - to work their way up HQ, so something obviously happened and it had to be significant to the point where it completely changed up her outlook on life, which means I really can't wait until they dive into her backstory.

When what happened in episode 1 is not just a one-off event, and brings conflict into another episode, that's just a kind of story that is worth watching for me

lycoris recoil is really special to me because it's the kind of show that got me into anime in the first place 10 years ago. cute girls, good action, sci-fi setting, and a really comfy atmosphere while carrying a lot of depth.

After seeing a few clips of Lycoris Recoil, I definitely feel I need to watch it.

I hadn't even heard about this show but I checked out the first episode after watching this vid and this is for sure a hidden gem. Thanks so much for highlighting this show, very underrated.

Lycoris genus of flowers has many interesting and beautiful flowers. Most interesting is the Lycoris Radiata, aka "The Red Spider Lily." But there are many other shades of Red and Orange in the Lycoris genus of flowers that are also very interesting. ;)

It's what would happen if Minority Report and John Wick got together and made a anime lol. I loving this anime! Everything about this anime is so well done I cannot recommend this one enough! This one and Call Of The Night are at the top of my list list for this season.

This show is a lot better than I expected. Between both A-1 shows airing this season,I thought I would like engage kiss more but I’ve been enjoying this waaay more. It’s up there with Isekai Ojisan and call of the night competing for best(non sequel) anime of the season imo.

I really hope this doesn't go the "dark route", trying to have some kinda of amazing plot in 12-13 episodes never goes right imo, while people like some shows that do that ( Vivy, Angel Beats ), it still feels clearly rushed or lacking in some aspects by lack of time, the worst case being Charlotte, changing completely the show with complicated plot points that just creates plot holes for the sake of emotional drama and the best case being Odd Taxi.

I'll definitely give this show a shot at some point I still have to catch up on a whole bunch of shows from last season though not to mention the show that I'm already watching including Overlord season 4 and the Devil is a part-timer season 2.

I know this is a bit of an overused meme, but the Lycoris flower symbolizes a permanent departure from two parties, however the show that's named after the same thing also has recoil in it, so I bet there's gonna be some sort of twist surrounding that thematic premise.

For anyone who is a fan of Chisato's VA in this show, you should go watch scum's wish. Not only is it an amazing show that doesn't get nearly the credit it deserves, but chika anzai kills it as the main character hanabi.

Corporate's scapegoat and toxicity are extremely common even in real life. Imagine you have been loyal to a company for like 30+ and then suddenly, you lost your position with dumbass scapegoat reason or stupid ass madeup reason for the Corporate to replace you with new employees. This could lead to some stupid ass suicidal actions like the Chinese Eastern Airlines incident which lead to 130+ passengers deaths.

Today's episode, as the kids say. was straight fire. The characters are the anime. I don't even care about the plot. The characters are that good.

Welp Im not suprised, I think I like WIT Studio, A1- Pictures, PA Works the most so I kinda expected after trailers, I will love this show. So far it has great pace between chaos fun/ action/ slice of life. Well written characters, clean animation, good ost, engaging plot ( tbh I can't wait for more time in cafe) and 2 best waifua Chisato and Mika. So far for me it's the best serie in Summer and I wish they will deliever quality to the end ^^

I wonder if this story will lead into a Naruto vs Sasuke kinda problem. We have been shown how capable these two compared to the other lycoris are, so I wouldn't wonder if they set up a battle of some sort between the two with the stuff that got revealed at the end of the 4th episode. Can't wait for the next one :)

I don't care about the police/detective/assassin thing at all. its just not clicking for me. The slice of life bits where the two of them are just vibin with each other are great. 👌 There's no way Chisato doesn't die at the end; the girls wardrobe is a vibrant red death flag.
