Another note, it’s fairly easy to get your weapon mastery to level 6 but it slows down heavy once you reach it. Additionally, some other ways to get the training dew is Resistance Contracts and (one that i have never seen talked about at all) the infinity dungeons.
It’s all well and good switching to another weapon, but it’s a royal PITA just wanting a 3rd weapon. It’s stupid difficult to get the level materials for you active and passive skills. It’s way too grindy, for too long.
There was a hack before the recent update, if you use the free server transfer tickets we had before the update at each server transfer you get 24 of those swap books so if you transfered twice you end up with 24x3 of them which is waaaaaay more than enoughto swap weapons twice
Hi, thanks for the video! :) I'm playing together with my SO as a duo and IMO we've got good main weapon selection - sword/shield and wand. Offhand weapon wasn't that great, as I've chosen sword/crossbow, and her wand/daggers. Since I found (thankfully to you) easy way to convert weapons since we're quite low yet (30lv), which combinations do you recommend? We don't play hardcore, rather casual - but doing dungeons without a healer for me is starting to bite us. Which of us should get staff, or is it viable to for us both to get healing spells mostly for bosses? As for now we're progressing through Codex and missions together with tank/dps combination. Again, thanks for the video!
@@lukistar80 wand dagger can heal, and u can grab wand with sns and play paladin build. At lv30 u dont have to worry about converting, just pick up a new weapon and continue leveling. By the time u reach max u will be good with new weapons.
@@FRESHY_GG sorry, my bad - i meant that she's playing Wand build right now, not staff. Daggers doesn't for for her, and she just went for wand, which already suits her playstyle. But again - is it worth for me to change to wand as well? Looking at our dungeon parties we get mainly DPS allies, so going for double wand sounds reasonable
Longbow/Wand for dedicated healing- it's the best at it. Wand/Dagger is a pretty tough combo to play effectively- it's known to have a high skill cap and you mentioned casual so I'm not sure it's a good idea unless you're looking for that challenge. Staff/wand combo was a great hybrid that mixes damage with healing- another combo to consider. Hopefully freshy or someone in the comments can verify if that's still the case.
Using the training dew should be a introduction quest as well because for some reason I thought it was something that I could only use once the timer was over and lost out on a bit of xp early on
I would actually avoid the resistance gear, it’s expensive to trait - find a group and farm open world dungeons since you’re levelling your mastery anyway, and use the blue gear you find there. The traits are incredibly cheap too for buffing them up to pump into purples later.
FYI if you count all the skills on your skill panel, you will realize you need at least 35 conversion books to swap both your weapons including passives, and that is only if you didn't upgrade the special ones and you only use 1 block.
@@alvarojoser3669 it’s difficult because I’ve ran out of leveling mats, but on the other hand if I need to be a tank I can be a tank, if I need to be a dps I can do that too.
Hey man, thank you for the vid. Can you tell me if you get diminishing returns if you farm with other people in party compared to solo farming? I got 50 recently so i'm mainly worried about drops...
why rerolling i dont get it, right now i have 4 weapons on lvl 10 and lvl 10 is high enough anyway, 🤷♂️ you can activate 1 weapon bonus at once so who cares. also i have all skills that i need for 4 weapons on purple passive and active, no clue why people make such a big deal out of this its so essy lol.
This guide is good but not viable unless you are playing this game for 8 hours a day or have insane RNG luck. I have been trying to obtain additional resistance daggers for my build and have not gotten a single drop. The rng is insane and the drop rate is terrible
I think this system is terrible and will make alot of people quit in the long run. Being locked into basically a single build is just not fun and people who dont like their class will just slowly stop playing. Think they should have a system like other games where you level up the weapons mastery to get skills instead of this stupid books.
@@eddiefortmann02 What do you mean? In order to level up your skills you need the books and you only get 24 books to transfer them to other skills, which is enough for what? 1 reroll? and then what? your locked in.
They differently need to add those books for purchase in the shop,I've used all free ones u get and those 10 in the premium shop and now I want more xd
Not only that, but the classes i ff14 are very fluid and can change them all from one character with a press of a button, and its very easy to level up alt jobs.
Do you people really not know that you can CRAFT skill books?????????? You just have to farm materials. Its super easy. You probably have enough already to max out another weapon and dont even know it because none of you know how to read.
Clickbait. This is nothing newer than the game itself. Also, this is still a guide even if you’re pretending you are doing it yourself. It just makes it a good guide- but not for anything new.
@@FRESHY_GG I don’t think I would, but that doesn’t mean you need to phrase your title in such a way that it sounds like a new thing. “Never been easier” is inaccurate. You could have said “most people don’t know about this…” and then you wouldn’t have wasted my time for your engagement numbers and found the appropriate audience
