And don't forget to mention the monay. He made a little of that. I wonder who helped set him on that path of creative wealth ???? His net worth at death was 100 million. Snot bad.
Me too. Except . . . the stories of Mr. Bond always had lots of mayhem, murder, and other types of action . . . NOT quite so " relaxing. " Ever notice the INCONGRUITY of it ?????????????
This is the best instrumental rendition I have heard of this song. Other instrumental versions the pacing is different or the brass is emphasized more, but this version is perfect to me.
One of the Best Bonds apart from the fact Sean had obviously had enough as he said later if theyd made him a partner in the franchise he would have done a couple more ,,,,OHMSS with Sean , Diana Rigg , Telly Savalas , and that great John Barry Score would have been the Apex Bond ,,,,
I drive a gun metal grey 2014 MX 5 NC. A ten second car. It came out of the box race ready with Le Mans paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Every time I drive it I'm in a James Bond movie. When people see it they ask, 'does it have machine guns behind the fog lights?' The license plate reads 009. It's definitely licensed to kill. Does a 'drift' nicely. Q branch read out, race ready with paddle shifters. A ten second car, does 0 to 100 mph in ten seconds. Double wish bone suspension and drive while flat tires makes her a nimble cat with tough paws. The body is made of rust resistant steel and carbon fiber (Kevlar) material. The hood, roof and trunk lid are aluminum. It has quarter inch metal armor under the engine and transmission. Stainless steel exhaust naturally. A seven speaker Boise sound system keeps the Bond theme music coming thru 5 by 5.
I JUST fb my brother and daughter to play this intro!! The orchestra would be done by the piano, the penatonic scale japanese mood in the background can easily be done by a vibraharp, and my daughter can play the triangle and cymbals. I am pretty sure the instruments can be rented, although I have a decent piano. If it would sound much better to add the typani, that begins to get out of my range of possibilities, and would have to pay a university student to do that. A voice to do the actual lyrics imo would cost $100.
My friend, Jim, and I were big Bond fans. I distinctly remember seeing YOLT at the very first Saturday it premiered. The Okla Theater in McAlester, OK. We were 13 years old. Great times!!!!
