Well I always get gas at Costco and use my Costco Citi card for all my expenses there, so I get 4% back on gas through the credit card and a total of 4% between my executive membership and the credit card. So my membership is paid off on its own and get a sweet discount on gas 😁😁
My wallet is freedom flex, unlimited, and reserve (got the 80k promo). Maybe I'm missing out since I don't have amex, but the points are so good on Chase. I've never paid for a single international flight thus far!
I’m using the Sam’s club credit card, Amex gold, Amex platinum, and my discover it credit card to gain as many points. I’m planning on using my Caesar’s and mgm slightly through out the year every blue moon!
The only downside for me for the Chase Freedom Flex is the rotating category is you can get this with the Citi Custom Cash. You can use the thank you points similar to the UR points you get from Chase. Discover would be a good card as well but you won’t get the sign up bonus but the cash back is better in the long run depending on your end goal With the Amex Gold, it’s great if you can take advantage of the credits. Otherwise it isn’t the greatest card out there because you can get alternative cards where you can get the same points system with other no annual fee cards 🤷🏼♀️
Thank you just got approve for 12k on the Bilt Mastercard will also use rent payment feature which is separate from my credit limit. Amazing thank you again.
Hey Brian love the videos! I was a bit excited when you mentiones the $500 back after spending $200 on the freedom flex but I believe you just made an error! Regardless keep it up. Always a better day when an upload from you pops up!
I have been missing out in thinking chase freedom flex offers cash back instead of points… will be signing up for flex and retiring my OG freedom soon too!
I have this build up. I’m only missing the Chase unlimited that’s it. I do have the Chase flex Chase sapphire, preferred American Express, Gold, an American Express, platinum
Could you cover cards if we had to book all travel through a travel company like Concur? I would use the Amex platinum, but due to my company requiring to book through Concur I use the reserve as I get x3 points on all travel through Concur's platform. I am curious if there is a better card out there.
I have a 649 credit score and was pre approved for the chase freedom flex, freedom unlimited, and chase sapphire preferred. Is there a likely chance I will get fully approved ? My credit history only goes back to November 2022
Thanks for doing the lords work. Currently my go to travel and dining is the Amex plat. Top tier when it comes down to the rewards. Tho i wish the annual fee wasn’t too expensive 😅
I use CFU or CSR cards for dining. 3X bonus and most of the mom & pop establishments around my area don't take AMEX. The latter is pretty much the reason I don't have an AMEX Gold.
any card… the most important thing is to START your credit, but of course, go for a Citi, or Chase, or Discover card, but the faster you get your card, the faster your credit history begins, everyone should get a credit card at 18, but TIME is your ally in this credit world
If you are a student, I will go for the Discover IT Student Cash Back or something like that. It was my first credit card and Discover has a fantastic customer service!
