*Herman Edwards is & always will be, an outstanding role model... both on & off the field.* It's a shame many of the young NFL players of today's 'modern NFL age', are often looking in the wrong places for role models of the caliber of Herman Edwards. Herm, IMHO, had ample confidence as a player... but always avoided crossing the line of being seen as a 'showboat'. And as a coach, he has been (& continues to be) quite an awesome inspiration to those us folks lucky enough to know him. *Thanks for all you've done & continue to do, Coach Edwards!*
But maybe Edwards wouldn’t want to come to Dallas. Jerry jones really a negative when it comes to trying to hire already established coaches. They rather coach without having an owner/gm questioning every decision you make.
Herm Edwards is one of my favorite personalities ever he cracks me up every time... I love his passion and when he is super pissed off he's funnier than ever
"I don't believe it!" You used the clip of the woman in the beret with the worried/scared expression from the Colts-Dolphins game in Memorial Stadium in 1975.
An amazing motivator. The game, however, has passed him by. A legend who should be remembered for his entire career/life of football and not just his more recent shortcomings.
that's the only way you should play the game. to win. if my team is up 55 - 10 with 6 seconds left on the clock and the ball's on the 1 yard line, if their team can't stop me they get scored on again. until that clock reads 0:00 the other team is the enemy. you're one and only job is to defeat them as soundly as possible. show me a 'good loser' and i'll show you a loser.
