I'm pretty sure the bass line was also Geoff. Also Layne confirmed in an interview on the "Charismatic Voice" RU-vid channel that Eli basically just lipsynced the bass line in the Moana Medley video. Geoff actually sang it. :) He did say that Eli does bass occasionally tho and said he's really good. Layne did the bass in their "Everywhere You Look" cover.

Yeah, for a live performance, Eli would sing the bass (except on Oogie Boogie's Song, where they have to use a pre-recorded background anyway because of Sandy Claws), but for the studio-recorded audio, they double-track Geoff because it sounds better. Personally, I want to see them do one song (and the video) where they all sing completely out of their usual comfort zone (Geoff and Layne on tenor, Eli on bass, Cesar on perc, and maybe feature a female low-alto in the baritone role), just to prove that they can. Just once.

The last note in this song was an E1. Same as oogie boogie. However, the subharmonic note he hit during the “39 and 1/2 foot pole” part was actually an Eb1. A semi tone lower than the last note in this song and Oogie Boogie.

Voiceplay always just puts SO MUCH effort into their videos. Definitely the best visuals out of all the acapella groups. And in my opinion also the best sound hah. Would you believe Adriana is just 16 in this video (and 15 in the Frozen 2 Medley). So young but such an amazing voice! And the reaction also great as always!

"Even Hades is looking down like 'Huh?'" maaan, that got me laughing so hard I had to pause your video and catch my breath again 😂 I was literally in tears from laughing so much. And I love that comparision as it's probably the most fitting one I have ever heard. They said that the Grinch was simply The Grinch, but later accidentally confirmed it was a hired actor. And I have to say it was phenomenal acting there. From them all, indeed.

He hits a D1 in their Little Mermaid Medley! It's a bit harder to hear under the voices on top of it but it's there :) I believe this song is the first time he's done a subharmonic Eb1 in a song though!

Now let me tell u about reactors, when it gets to parts of the song like J. none´s riffs, eli´s high notes and the Layne´s beatboxing I feel like Qofy is the only one who pays attention to those parts and I am not saying he is the only one who does i am saying all reactors out there who do voice play reactions shouldn´t just focus on Geoff´s low notes.

I always enjoy your reactions so much! I was surprised you didn't catch Geoff's high to low section the first time but it's so great that you always run through it again. I loved everything about this video but my favorite part was Layne's "woof" as Max. Only Layne can put that much attitude into one word.

They have always surprised us and again this!?!? What?!?? How?!? How does he do that??!? Geoff is trying to sitting on the Throne of Bass that is in my head.... don’t try, you are welcome to sit on it Geoff......... He is the best modern bass singer in my view...... sorry Tim foust 😅😅. And all the others, the Voice Play, they are fun!!! What they do in a song, no one can come up with such music ideas!!! Best version of Mr Grinch!! And they made the song seem like Mr Grinch deserved it.....

I have to partly agree haha Geoffs sub harmonics makes him a force to be reckoned with. But Tim foust is the kraken that’s released in time of need 😂

I agree. Vp is just so much more fun and they keep in the spirit of the song which I don't think other groups do. Add in the costumes and it just works. I find it boring when groups just show them singing on songs like this. There is a story to tell... Tell it.

O.M.G. It has finally happened - what I thought never would or could although it's been sneaking up on me. VoicePlay has produced a version of a song I prefer to the the PTX one. They won't tell us who played the Grinch, but my guess is also Tony, cause he also played Oogie Boogie in their last vid :D Geoff sang the bass line in this one, by now I can hear it from their voice colours who sings which part and he also arranged the song! Adriana is so amazing, she joined them before for their Frozen medley btw, she's only 16 and it's insane how amazing she's singing!! I loved J.None is this cover particularily, he sounds so smooth man... and don't need to comment on Geoff, he just gets way too comfortable in literally every single note on the keyboard, he's not human xD
