No one is making an argument that shows Biden being better than Trump. Biden has bent the knee to the Republican party his entire political career. Why do people assume that would change. Im a socialist because of Bernie. I’m willing to beat a lot of people are and a lot more are now open to socialism because of him. A huge mistake that leftists make is that they think our position is a lot more powerful than it is. Im willing to bet that currently he have less people that Republicans do. Our numbers will be blustered by the next wave of young people in 2024 that will be able to vote but in the meantime we should be doing all we can to move other people our age.

Voting for a candidate, btw, doesn't mean you agree with all of their policy positions (which Bernie or Busters seem to insinuate, or at least that guy seems to). That's not how voting usually works, because you have limited input in who gets to the forefront of presidential voting. You often have to compromise and vote for people you don't actually want to vote for, especially if your views are in any way radical, because it makes your positions usually incompatible with the huge chunk of people in the middle who can go either way and whose votes, as there are way more of them than there are of you, will almost always have more say in who is electable than yours. This is a dynamic present in every election system, but more so in the presidential system, because you cannot use a mixed approach here.

These Bernie or bust debates are both aggravating and hilarious. At the same time, these people will argue that there's an imperative to what they're doing and that we 'don't have time' to radicalize democratic voters but we *Do* have time to start a socialist party from the ground up to make it more viable than the democratic party and eventually take the white house its astonishing

Bernie did with a single presidential campaign what no leftist had done in at least 50 years, which is to say he became relevant. As someone who was initially upset with Bernie for dropping out, I now realize that the left in America truly owes him everything.
