You're Buying FAKE Honey From China...Cut With Sugar & Other Nasty Stuff!

Only buy locally sourced honey, otherwise there is a good chance it's coming from China, is cut with sugar, has no pollen, and can have heavy metals. There is an abundance of good quality honey around the world, you just have to make sure you know exactly where it comes from. Ideally buy local and raw honey, this means it's not heated very high for filtration and still has living nutrients. Mad Love..Bobby

I get my honey from a local honey farmer. He showed me the bees, the operation, the storage, the whole nine yards. I was absolutely amazed! Beautiful in every way!

I wish more local farmers would MAN UP and spend more of their profits ....... on marketing. So we can fuckin find them. Instead of running a business and then complaining about slow moving business.......... that sort of half ass behavior and victim mentality is what is feeding china... not the buyer.

Can't find em. Here in Minnesota farmers markets are full of fake imported products and scam artists so instead people do their high-end / farm grocery shopping at "Co-ops". That is the only place where you can get "real" honey but most of them are from neighboring states like Wisconsin, not locally produced. In fact, it's not just honey. Most local farmers in my area straight out _refuse_ to directly sell their produce (like raw goats milk or pasture raised pork) to local end consumers for some reason, most likely profit related.

As a beekeeper I appreciate your exposing fake honey although some of us sells our honey in the cute little bears too. 🙂 I wish you had mentioned that real honey can crystallizes and the fake stuff never will, and that crystallized honey does not mean that the honey has gone bad.

If you still are trying to improve your health and lose weight, You need to watch Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead (Joe Cross) I think it’s the second documentary that Joe Cross meats a man (truck driver who has become obese no doubt from sitting in a truck all the time) and also who had the same condition he had. He help this man lose so much weight and restore his healthy while at the same time improving his own health. Oh also, poor sleep schedules that mess up your circadian rhythm can force your body into insulin resistance Golo diet discusses this as many people have this condition especially those working shift work or getting very little sleep. Research suggests that most people need an average of 7-9 hrs sleep. No less than 7 and no more than 9. Too little or too much isn’t good for your health.

There are tons of local beekeepers who are less than honest with many of them whom were reportedly caught selling fake raw honey that is either pasteurized or heavily mixed with other artificial additives and fillers for a quick buck. Buying from local beekeepers does not guarantee you are getting genuine raw or real honey. What's worst because of how technological sophisticated that some honey producer are these day, in truth, it's actually impossible to properly validate whatever a honey is real honey or otherwise unless it's tested thoroughly in a lab. So unless you either can verify for yourself firsthand that the honey you are buying is actually harvested raw with no added artificial flavoring and stuff or have the honey it's self tested in a lab, you really can't be 100% sure you are getting the real stuff.

This is so true. When I was back in China, honey from shelves were always recognized as the "cheap sweaters that taste like honey". If you want real honey, you have to buy directly from beekeepers. And nobody thought there's a problem with that, that's like a normal thing to do. I was so shocked when I saw how high honeys are priced in the US grocery stores, and realized that they are real honey. To be honest, I kinda miss the "honey taste alike", cause I use honey only for the taste not the benefit, but in the US even the fake honeys are expensive for no reason, it's not even worth it to buy fake ones here.

Costco Kirkland raw honey from Brazil in bear bottles has been filtered which is not good. You want to get unfiltered raw honey, with no added sugar.

But Manuka honey direct from New Zealand. Do a Google search and find producers that deliver. If you get it directly from New Zealand it will be 100% real.

We Are Legion Hi, don’t know, never got through the LONG LINES But the MANUKA, I buy @ COSTCO, I think it’s from NZ , NOT INEXPENSIVE , but they also sell UNFILTERED HONEY QUITE DARKER GHAN REGULAR HONEY, BUT ANY HONEY Zthat does NOT CRYSTALIZE TO THE END is more than likely fake , cheers 🇦🇺🇺🇸🇺🇸

As someone commented before, real honey crystallizes at certain low temperatures. Put the jar in warm water and it will decrystallize. Never use microwave heating. Honey is like our girlfriend, warm them slowly.

Help? Is this real stuff: YS Organic Bee Farms CERTIFIED ORGANIC RAW HONEY 100% CERTIFIED ORGANIC HONEY, from Amazon?
@DarkZerol
@DarkZerol 3 года назад
It's more of a question of trust. There are tons of local and certified organic beekeepers who are less than honest with many of them whom were reportedly caught selling fake raw honey that is either pasteurized or heavily mixed with other artificial additives and fillers for a quick buck. Buying from certified organic honey does not guarantee you are getting genuine raw or real honey.

I recently purchased Honey Citron & Ginger tea made by Balance Grow at Costco. While I love the tea I wonder if the honey is any good and if the product is really as healthy as advertised. Would appreciate any insight from you. Thanks.
