When I was diagnosed with IBS in 2021, I didn't want to accept "there is no cure, just live with it". I came across Bobby, Dr. Berg, etc. and just by making some changes in my diet (reading the labels) I starting feeling better and loosing some weight. I have lost 22 lbs just by changing my diet and my IBS rarely bothers me. I am a true believer that we need to take care of our bodies. Some items are more expensive, like just cooking with EVOO, Coconut oil, grass fed butter, non-gmo, etc., but your body (especially your gut) will thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to do this. This is such beneficial and important information. After my sister got diagnosed with lymphoma cancer about 15 years ago and soon after I’ve had thyroid problems, I’ve made a lot of these changes in my life and I’ve seen the benefits. Please pay attn people, you will be saving yourself and your loved ones a lot of heartache and hospital visits. You are what you eat. Let’s not put anything in or on our body, we should have higher standards for ourselves for our health. Thank you Bobby!
Thank you so much Bobby for helping people to stay healthy! ❤️ my kids watch your videos all the time - so now Mom is not the only person who bother them 24/7 with healthy lifestyle ☺️
Berkey water filter company is definitely not going out of business. They said that was a horrible rumor. Our family actually owns one and it does a great job.
For the people asking for credentials… WTF does a piece of paper matter when a person is obviously well read and willing to share the information? Yall so lost. You don’t need to pay anyone to tell other people you know what you know. That’s just ignorance. Credentials are irrelevant.
@@MichaelReii99 sounds like a teacher to me. I’m not sure what your definition is… but I’ve been an educator my entire life. I read the books, listen to the shows, and tell people what they say. It’s called teaching.
@@Mimithemotivatoryes. He is. I’m reading and watching good videos for many years. And comparing with other sources and even doctors what he is talking about in the videos it’s truth
Bobby thank you so much for your work. I'm an immigrant and live in the US a bit more than a year. I could not even imagine how bad situation with groceries and products on the US market.
I'm using plant based and organic cleaning solutions for my home, their laundry soap are really good, your clothes comes out like dried under the sun. Smells so clean amd fresh. For my personal cares, too. So i don't get stressed on these stuff. I'm assured that the air i breathe at home is safe and clean
I just use castile soap for everything, laundry, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, dishes. Been doing that for several years and its worked out fine for me, kirk's is usually the cheapest, dr bronners and simple truth are also good brands
After hearing that they’ve found the chemicals in sunscreen actually get absorbed into your bloodstream I have been very Leary of body lotions. I use a lot of those strongly scented bath and body works lotions and those cannot be healthy 😩 I think that once I’m out I’m going to start moisturizing with coconut oil or olive oil. I already avoid unnecessary cleaning products such as fabric softeners, dryer sheets, and air fresheners.
For food, stick to the outer edges of the store. That's where the real food is. I think the other items like cleaners that I've had a harder time avoiding. Bobby is helpful there.
Oh my God you're exposing him you're right it's plastic what should I do so should I stop watching him oh my God so are you saying what he saying is lying
Anyone criticizing him… just remember. I understand the higher end products are more expensive. All I need to take away, is the understanding, of what the ingredients mean.
The criticisms mostly stem from the fact that the vast majority of us do use the products he advises against, and the vast majority of us are doing fine. The key is moderation. With something like sunscreen for example, most people aren't spending enough time in the sun to where the toxins in those generic sunscreens would have the deleterious effects down the road he mentions. If you spend an occasional day at the pool or beach, use the generic stuff, you'll be FINE.
He researched just like you can. So people if you don't agree either stop watching or do your on researched. I know most of what he is talking about. I have skin allergies. Plus the food we eat is so addictive. Similar to drug addicted. Thankyou Bobby.
Bobby is hitting too close to home. You can tell by the amount of hired trolls commenting to try and discredit him. I HAVE done my research and worked with a nutritionist and a Harvard trained functional medicine physician and what Bobby says is exactly what the medical professionals have told me as well.
@@MichaelReii99 seems like you are having a difficult time understanding. My doctor was educated at Harvard. What he has told me to eat/not to eat, products/ingredients to stay away from are the same as what Bobby is saying.
@@MichaelReii99 they didn't state anything about seed oils, but on my nutrition plan the only oils I am allowed to use are cold compressed walnut, avocado, coconut, and extra virgin olive oil for the good fats in them to decrease inflammation. Which is exactly what Bobby recommends.
Hello all and to our dear host. Bugs do not like peppermint, tea tree oil, rosemary, lavender, cedarwood, geranium, eucalyptus. Mix 3-4 drops with a base oil ( Jojoba, grapeseed, avocado ( possibly ), almond and neem. The last one smells like garlic and onions so, it comes down to one's personal preference. Moving on, the shampoo I use is Castile, soapnuts or ambunu. Ambunu are likened to tea leaves. I find that bars soaps are less irritating such as Shea Moisture, Hennasooq bars other brands can be found on Amazon. Shea butter is the bomb for an all over body lotion. Don't like the greasy feel add a little arrowroot powder or just do mango with a little shea because the former is a dry butter ( no scent ) and the latter has a greasy feel ( light scent ). To remove makeup Olive oil and aloe, Jojoba oil and rose water or Witch Hazel and distilled water. Hope my suggestions are helpful.
I like his videos and try to eat Bobby healthy but it gets too expensive sadly the average family can't fully do this ....keep up the good fight & thank you I stopped using some of the products & feeling better ❤😊
Don't listen to the paid trolls that have been hired to discredit Bobby. He is hitting too close to home. I have chronic health issues and in addition to doing my own research (I'm a speech-language pathologist that works in a medical setting), I've worked with a nutritionist and a Harvard trained functional medicine practitioner. What Bobby says echos what they counsel me.
Great video with lots of interesting information, thank you! People usually forget to mention the CUMULATIVE effect of toxic chemicals, which makes everything more complicated. If you wear mostly clothes with PFAS right against your skin such as leggings and you sweat in them, AND if you also cook mostly in non stick pans, AND if you use a yoga mat that picks up PFAS from your carpet, AND if you drink tap water that contains PFAS, well… even if it’s a small amount of toxic chemicals for each product it can add up to dangerous levels that can trigger health issues. Another concern is the COCKTAIL effect, when many different toxic chemicals create strange sets of symptoms and illnesses when they accumulate in a person’s body. This is very difficult to study because every person reacts differently and scientists don’t know how this mix of chemicals is truly affecting our body. Since there are endless possibilities regarding the type of chemicals, their toxicity level, their concentration and the way they interact with other chemicals in our blood, organs etc… there really is no way to study the effects all these toxic chemicals have on our body. The future doesn’t look good though, as we use more and more plastics including silicone cooking molds and a million other products that are supposed to make our life easier. People don’t realize that they are ingesting very unhealthy particles and feeding them to their kids too 😢 If we could just wake up and go back to simpler products made of healthier materials like linen for our clothes, and cast iron or glass for our cooking molds, now that would be a good start. When people want to exercise they go play soccer or softball on an athletic field covered with Astroturf filled with crumb rubber, which is made of tiny pieces of old car tires 🤮 Nobody seems concerned about the heavy metals and other toxic chemicals found in this recycled rubber, it’s really puzzling. Then they take their kids to a playground that has a soft ground cover made of rubber pellets glued together aka PIP (“Pour In Place” rubber flooring) which is also from old car tires. Nobody seems worried about their kids crawling all over this type of flooring with bare hands then eating a snack without washing or even wiping their hands to avoid ingesting too much rubber dust, no problem! Only a few counties in the US have banned these rubber pellets but most towns are now installing a PIP rubber flooring in their kids playgrounds and Astroturf on their athletic fields. No wonder kids who play several times a week on those fields have such a high rate of leukemia or other cancers, especially the goalies who are in contact with the toxic rubber pellets… Our homes are filled with toxic stuff, and people have no problem putting pieces of furniture like IKEA in their kids room, not realizing that the glue in these particle boards releases toxic airborne formaldehyde particles that are very unhealthy, especially for youngsters. Even smart people are still heating up their food in a microwave in a plastic container or worse in a cardboard box from the restaurant, not realizing that there are PFAS in the lining of the box. I have a friend who’s all about clean living, healthy lifestyle etc… but she has no problem putting her kids’ plastic lunch boxes in the dishwasher everyday, it’s disheartening…She doesn’t want to hear the fact that BPAs and other toxic chemicals get released because of the heat in there 🙄 I have another friend who’s an environmentalist but she mostly wears synthetic fabrics and doesn’t care about the tiny pieces of nylon or polyester that her clothes shed during each wash in her machine. Where does she think all these microplastics end up if not in the ocean? It’s really sad because we now have access to lots of information about this stuff online but most people don’t want to change their bad, lazy habits. I’m afraid the force of inertia is far too great, and people love their stretchy clothes, silicone cooking molds, cheap furniture and stain resistant sofas way too much to give them up. How can we remain hopeful when even smart people don’t want to hear the truth about toxic chemicals in their clothes, homes, playgrounds etc…?
This is insane. I didn’t think of all these ways plastic and chemicals have seeped into my life. I still eat healthy ish and other stuff, but my keyboard, laptop, and other stuff is probably leaching shit everyday when it gets hot. My plastic blanket and plastic mattress is also probably harmful. I guess I need to wake up. I’ve been doing some research, but clearly not enough
🌟 You totally get it and I remember talking about this with my loved ones several years ago - the changes made are reflected on our shelves and things will get better for those who truly want them !
Don't listen to the hired troll. We are taking care of our bodies and not buying toxic junk. Which means less money for the pharmaceutical companies and less money for junk products. They don't like this so they hire trolls to try and discredit people like Bobby.
I bough kombucha in glass bottles, then saved the bottles. Now, I filter all my water and fill the glass bottles then store them in the refrigerator. All the convenience of water bottles with the advantages of glass and cold water on demand.
Did you know that the plastic wrapping in dishwashing pods are genuinely plastic. The hot water melts the plastic bags and it washes down the drain into the water system. It is not a biodegradable film, there is no technology, it is just plastic.
Yes, we used to do that until the dishwasher started to rust. Now we just wash the dishes well with soap, and put them in the dishwasher to finish the job with just hot water.
@@christinehutchins123 it's actually not, nowadays it's easier than you think. I think a lot of people are either too busy or too unmotivated. I actually enjoy finding the best healthiest food for the best price
@@fruttojuli_blognot practical. Think of all the food in supermarket. How are you gonna package meat, cheese. Can’t use glasss for everything. Without plastic then no food.
For the coffee thing, most of those coffee makers that use k-cups (all of them?) are made of plastic, so your water sits in a plastic tank and then gets heated up and passes through plastic components before being pushed into the cup. If you're gonna make coffee, get yourself a glass coffee maker like a chemex with a metal filter and a stainless steel kettle so your water never touches plastic.
None? Look at all the "doctors" on youtube making videos on health. They are NOT medical doctors and they are CHIROPRACTORS! Dr. Mandell " motivationaldoc" channel even wears a white medical lab coat with a stethoscope around his neck at the start of his videos LOL!. QUACK and FRAUDSTER!
It's actually disgusting that all this stuff is even allowed on the market. And the animal testing. And the packaging, holy crap, just look down the aisle and imagine the amount of plastic that's ending up in landfills, oceans, etc. The system is broken.
The system isn't broken. The companies weren't thinking about how to harm you, they were thinking how to make it cheaper and as a result make more money (and have you save money). If everything was in glass and metal, things would be double if not triple the price.
It really bug the sh*t outta me when Bobby rudely just places the items back on the shelf with zero attempt to properly face it right side out again. Total douche move.
Dog food is a very complex subject...Try looking at Dr. Karen Becker (Forever Dog), Dr. Peter Dobias & Dr. Judy Morgan for everything you would want to know about Dog Nutrition 😊
I am amazed by those of you who question his suggestions. Just read up on all the toxic products there are out there. I don’t need to have qualifications to share information. And, neither does he. Man the dish detergent is hard for me. It’s made me uncomfortable washing my dishes with cascade. But the naturally derived ones never work for me. They always leave food on the dishes. I’ve tried 7th gen but not that specific one. So I guess I’ll try that next time but my expectations are low.
After watching Bobby videos I feel like if you don’t make over 100k at work you will die. Better for you ingredients and products are too expensive for the average single person making below 100k a year. There is absolutely no way. What if you want to store up water for an emergency. A reverse osmosis system depends on the public water supply running. Id rather have water for an emergency than try to avoid every shred of microplastic.
Why does everyone just blindly trust Bobby? He doesnt show or tell us what studies or evidence he has for anything he says. Just believe what he says and dont investigate. If you did you might call bullshit on most stuff he says.
@jerryhosentfeld he is the one saying everything is toxic he has the claim but shows no evidence. There are no studies showing that canola oil is harmful for humans in moderation. Same with organic foods like all his other videos. I believed this I only bought organic thinking that I wouldn't be putting pesticides in my body, but organic foods still use pesticides they are just "organic" approved and they don't work as well and have to spray more pesticides sometimes.
@jerryhosentfeld Bobby is the one claiming all these scary toxic things but doesn't say what he is basing this on. He has the claim he needs the evidence I'm not claiming them so I don't need to show you evidence on why they aren't toxic. That's like a Christian saying show me the evidence of there not being a god. Organic foods is another thing Bobby says you must buy because of pesticides. Look into organic foods and you find they use pesticides just ones that are organic approved and a lot of times they spray more of them because they don't work as well. I use to buy only organic foods thinking they were better for you then I did some research and found out it's bullshit. Go watch the show Bullshit they have an episode all about organic foods. Go listen to actual doctors and scientists on this that's where I turned too and found out most of what Bobby is saying is bullshit. He scares people for clicks and views. He makes me want to know more about what I am consuming, using, etc.... Use his information for what it is. I don't get when people are ugly. Why are you watching then?
11:55 No it did not. Both of the statments are completely false. For example, the DNA thing he is talking about wasnt sucralose itself but a contaminant . The study was done invivo, not on humans . There was no negative effects on the DNA until the concentration reached about 800 times of what can be found in sucralose products.
Instead of using any sunscreen, how about putting on a shirt and wide brimmed hat. We need sun exposure. Just do it safely without putting on chemicals on our skin.
A shirt and wide brimmed hat? Going outside for you must be under a large tree that blocks everything. If you have anything resembling an active lifestyle, your gonna have to do better.
I did hear (not from Bobby) that there were tests done which showed that Berkey didn’t remove a certain toxin in the water. (I forgot which one it was) I hear that zero osmosis water is best BUT since it removes everything from the water, one needs to replenish the minerals. Celtic Salt is good for that.
If you have any doubt what oils are healthy or not, look at the price tag! The nasty stuff is super cheap! That's why they use them in prepackaged baked items.
