Quick tip. Salvage anything you are not going to use. Jewel fragments sell for 1k each and so you will earn more money by salvaging. Also its just easier and saves time and you will not miss out on any unique gems. So yea DO NOT SELL WEAPONS!!!
@@18huslah You could but I would just salvage everything and when you need some copper just sell off some excess jewel fragments. You get way way more copper that way then you could ever use honestly. Its mostly to just save time and the hassle of sorting through 500 pieces of gear to decide which ones to salvage and which ones to sell.
@@theolong6689 I hit max jewel fragments doing this, it won’t give you anything if you salvage with 9999, so make sure you sell off a bunch when you get up to 7000 or so
Quick tip for everyone to make salvaging easier. Just lock all your 4 star gear you get. So that way if you select the check all button it will select all weapons except the ones you have locked/equipped. Then you can easily salvage all they extra gear.
@@gameclips5734 well I don’t go through the whole inventory at once. Once I get a 4star or higher I lock it right away so I know to look at it at some point. Normally I just walk up and mass sell everything right away without looking. If my build ever struggles I’ll look through the other stuff to salvage the perks for other gears.
In blacksmith section talking about gear jewels, the amount of jewels is tied to the gear quality. 1* is 1 skill, 2* is 2 skills etc and the set bonus doesn't take a slot. One kind of jewel per gear (1 damage, 1 def etc)
i was hoping you would explain how when you embed a special effect how to determine the type of effects you can add into it cause some would only let you put certain skills while other allow you the basic ones. like the damage ones idk if thats only for 1 or 2 piece per gear or what
@@brunoutechkaheeros1182 hm so how would that work. do you get more dmg slots if the geart is lighter? i have to embed every special effect on a gear to see if one of those slots can give me damage. wish i could know in advance before replacing a slot. only way i can tell so far is if the slot is already a damage type then i can replace it with another damage type.
I've been pain stakingly going through every single gear piece, looking for special effects that i don't have unlocked, and removing the special effect thinking that's how i unlock it. Actually, i just need to salvage it?
So I salvaged a weapon with flame enchant and it won’t show up as something I can add to my weapon..does it only go on certain weapons? I’m so confused
I don’t understand the devs. It’s like they learned nothing from nioh. Nobody wants to spend 30 mins going through junk gear. Why not just make everything have 4 slots at the start?
i don't think anything here covered how anyone would be doing this wrong, it was just basic stuff? I was hoping to find out more about the restrictions of adding certain jewels or combinations to certain equipment
how do you get higher-level grey jewels, for example, +17 flame attack power to say a +19 flame AP. Does extracting or salvaging a piece of gear with the +19 get me that jewel.
The only thing I have trouble understanding is if unused equipped gear (like your bow you mentioned) actually adds to your stats or not. Looked on multiple reddit posts and its just a plethora of yes and no with no concrete evidence behind their answers.
The way I tested this with my bow and crossbow. I put mark flag locations on my bow and not my crossbow. When I had my bow equipped I could see them on my mini map but when I switched to my crossbow, the white icon for the flag locations no longer appeared. So from my personal testing, the only stats active are the weapon or bow currently equipped in your bottom row slot where you can toggle to switch items.
You never start a sentence with "And". It's grammatically wrong, even though modern grammar accepts it. However modern grammar evolves language, we all know there is deviance from it's original form to cater for slackers.
