This scene always makes me cry. Will only had two friends, Francine and Sydney. Francine got killed and then Sydney was "killed." Must of made his whole life better knowing she's alive. I miss Will on Alias. He really was the best friend of Sydney.
Aw this scene is so signature 'Alias.' A funny little anecdote told among friends over drinks (the spilled coffee leading to a job hire), re-contextualized over guns and spy-fi paranoia. Love.
Nope. Allison (Francie's double) did stab him, but put him the bathroom. In the third season premiere, Vaughn told Syd that they were able to save Will but they all believed (except Jack) that Syd and Allison had died in the fire that destroyed the house. The Covenant had taken both Syd and Allison out. They extracted DNA from both and put it in bodies they left in the house.
@SkydivingCoroner Woah, your comment reminded me of the first episode when Danny calls Jack Bristow to ask for his permission to marry Syd. Jack says that if this is just a way so he could share this as a little anecdote among his friends over drinks to show what an old-fashioned guy Danny really is, then he doesn't wanna be a part of it. Or something like that. And then he goes, "Then welcome to the family" Hilarious scene that was.
I had a best friend I was in lv w. Once. He got killed in Hawaii. Mistake of identity 😢😢😢ohh how I mist him. I was told by family members that he also loved me and was going to ask me to marry him. 😢😢😢
To be entirely honest I never really liked Alias after the first 2 seasons- I could stand them killing off Francie for the resulting double plotline it had but having Will leave the show made it too depressing. The warmth Sydney had with him and Francie was what kept me coming back- without it Sydney is essentially a robotic workaholic :/
But they didn't f it up. They stayed friends after that including after she was with Vaughn. Sometimes friends can kiss or sleep with each other and then just walk away from that without any negativity. I've managed it thankfully
