I know everyone needs money but if we are highly aware individuals, we need to be aware of what is plunging us into illhealth and spewing out a toxic world. The reason for all things evil is...bank issued money, specifically. It's not that money itself causes evil but money done like this does (and I'm not a believer in deities) We need to be hyper aware because every time we spend a dollar, a multiple of that goes into exploiting others. That is the way the mathematics works. I can explain if requested. Also the most valuable things in life are attention, information, and empathy. By charging people to learn these techniques, (and I know a lot of podcasters are doing this) it only continues the elitism and favoritism of the paradigm we are currently in. And we could be going to the new paradigm (based on sovereignty, abundance and care) instead of wasting our time in this shithole. Imagine if we all had any information we desired and we didn't need to pay for it? I think this kind of information shouldn't receive funding. I think the funding (being from the evil money system - and we all know we are trapped in it to a large degree) must come from other sources. This information is too important to just give to those who have the means. This in now way is meant to offend you or detract from you in any way. It is a principle I think we who are awake need to live by and start laying down the principles that humans live by instead of waiting for them to be imposed on us. This is a shout for freedom (we are very close!)

Because of working with Dan, I'm almost entirely pain free! He has helped me more than anyone or anything I've tried. I lived years in constant pain. I never had a pain free day until recently. I lost a career, home, had to file bankruptcy, and move into my parents house. It's been a crazy 6 year ride. I had lost all hope with the passing years. I didn't want to celebrate my birthday or any holidays. I couldn't believe that this was my life and I was only in my late 30's. I found Dan and have been working with him since March. I'm already breaking free of this bondage just by taking his advice and truly doing what he says. He's changed my life. Its incredible!

Sorry you lost 6 years like that, but great that you are catching this so young still. I got struck down by 28, and I'm 55 now. I very much know those thoughts of, I can't believe this is my life. I've resigned myself to it, because I've tried so many things, yet it that dire thought still hits me.

Raelan and Dan both touched on the phenomenon of symptom remission when on a beach vacation. I agree that the removal of everyday stressors is a factor BUT, I also believe other factors are at play, moreso if you are like me and enduring winter months up north. With feet in the sand, there is a thing called grounding going on. If I swim in the ocean everyday, I am absorbing magnesium, and probably 100+ other minerals and nutrients through my skin that I am normally not getting. If I am getting sun on my skin, that type of Vitamin D production is far superior to any supplement or food source. The ambient light in my eyes is also proven to be a mood lifter. The novelty in change of scenery provides another boost. I personally do not discount all these other factors.

@@northernflicker1111 I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling. Everybody is different and so are their healing journeys, but what helped me was dealing with the PTSD from Covid and the sequelae (with EMDR therapy, yoga nidra, guided meditations) and retraining my brain (I didn’t do the Gupta program but I found several helpful people online such as Dan as well as Nicole Sachs and of course Raelan Agle). The key in my healing was training my Nervous system to feel safe so it could go out of fight flight into rest digest for prolonged periods. Letting go of any expectations of my own or life, just learning to trust my body and giving it space… Getting rid of any “I have to (take this supplement/follow this diet etx) and instead cultivating a mindset of “it will be okay, I’m healing, these symptoms are not in fact dangerous no matter how real or uncomfortable”. I guess the Gupta program also focuses on brain retraining in this way, it just felt too much “work” to me at the time - I kind of set up my own daily routine of self care and relaxation with what resonated and didn’t feel like “homework”, if you know what I mean. Wishing you all the best 🪷

I was missing the true self and alignment. Why do we get those danger signals? If we are not in alignment with our true self we get these danger signals. Saying yes when we mean no, being in an unhappy marriage, working a job you hate everyday. The more we are in alignment the less symptoms and the less your stress response get activated and you have to retrain.

We are in existential danger and I think our bodies are picking it up and saying, "STOP. And think". It may be coming for a more universal purpose than what we might understand at present. It could be mother nature's way of holding back the humans. And those of us who are experiencing this drawn out pain, may be transformed in ways we can not understand but in good ways.

I'm so very, very happy you did an interview with Dan! I really recommend his RU-vid videos, but especially his group coaching. It's so nice to be able to get help from him, but really, really encouraging to hear about people's wins. He's the nicest and most caring person I know. He genuinely cares about people and wants to help them get better. Ive seen a good deal of improvement since doing the group coaching. I just started walking 10 minutes ( which is a big deal to me). I used to be afraid of going up up and own one set of extra stairs a day. I'm no longer afraid of my stairs and I don't get symptoms from doing some extra stairs in a day. I still have fear to work on, but I'm getting there. I feel after 7 yrs of having this that I became fearful of doing much of anything, because I feared the payback. But thst kept me stuck for 7 yrs and now I'm making progress!

Appreciate this. One contradiction though at 21:00 : for me, doing meditation and breath work IS how I let go of physical tension and deeply show my body that it’s safe. I don’t tell myself “I have to do all this because I’m sick”, I tell myself, “I get to promote wellness in my life in a way that lets me relax into the safety that already exists”.
@patrickhall7884
@patrickhall7884 5 месяцев назад
Good point. I think though what Dan means is if a healing modality becomes a point of intense focus (I must do this at all costs to heal), then the nervous system goes "hey you're giving this a lot of attention, this must be something important, or dangerous, I'd better stay alert!". We need to practice healing modalities, without the desire to heal, since we're not sick. Our nervous systems are just stuck, for now. Outcome independent.

@@patrickhall7884yes ! Heal without focus on healing. So meditate to be well but not to get well if that makes sense !! Thank you Raelan and Dan for this amazing interview. My daughter who is now 16 has been ill for over 2 years now with POTS/CFS. As a mum I am desperate to help her. She has just missed 2 years of school and her GCSE's here in the UK, heartbreaking really. I am a nurse in the NHS in the UK for 21 years and after a lot of research, mainly from the you tube channels from yourselves, ANS rewire Dan, Miguel and Toby Morrison realise the answer is the mind/body connection. Thank you to you all. As a specialist nurse I am used to implementing research based evidence to help my patients I thought this would be easy to help my daughter. How wrong I was, I have researched and researched, I want to stop her suffering. The people helping people with these awful symptoms are people who have lived with this illness who are putting these videos out. Everything Dan has said is obvious to me to a parent living day in day out with this and as a nurse

I'm so glad I watched the entire video rather than thinking it didn't apply to me once I realized that some of it didn't, because a lot of it did! The source of my pain and anxiety, and all the rest, is mostly physical, but everything this gentleman said still applies, absolutely! When I practice positive thoughts and attitudes, cultivating joy and gratitude, finding happiness in taking care of my wonderful, amazing body, in spite of its limitations, when I love my body as if it were my own newborn baby, everything about my physical health and mental attitude responds positively. Many years ago, when my health first completely deteriorated, I realized I can't thrive and heal if I view my body as an enemy, as if I'm fighting against it, or if I harbor anger toward it. I have to love it and appreciate it for doing so much for me everyday to keep me alive; my body and I live in peace

I love what you said. Yes! Everything needs love to thrive. It's been mostly like we're living in an alien - we have no connection with our body. I am sure this is from all the indoctrination of our "civilization". But everything responds to care. We are actually learning about or real selves. I'm so glad you found relief.

I had to tons of emotional work (I was completely cut off from my emotions) and belief work (to change beliefs on "not good enough" ect. to feel safe and get out pain, fatigue, dizziness, brain fog, IBS, etc. . I really did not get very far in my recovery until I did the emotional work (for me I did Kiloby Inquiries created by Scott Kiloby). Some people need to do lots of inner work some people do not. Getting out of the fear of symptoms (and the worry, thinking about them) was huge as well as somatic tracking/pain reprocessing therapy (spending time in the body feeling the symptoms with a lens of safely-).-Life with Kyle youtube channel has some good mediations for this--his CFS recovery story was on this channel a few months ago.

Great interview. I came across Dan January 7th 2024 after a year of back pain from a back injury lifting a heavy tub. In two weeks my mental state has improved from following Dan's program. Stress, Catastrophizing and Perceived Danger Pain (TMS) was definitely making my symptoms worse. Dan's program the last two weeks has helped. Is my pain gone? No, but I am more aware of how my stress makes my pain symptoms remain or get worse. Stress is affecting so many of us in profoundly negative ways. Some stress is normal in life, but too much stress is a killer. Wish us all success in reducing unnecessary stress and worry in our lives.

I completely agree. I get flares on vacation as well. I don't believe I'm sick and don't harbour any fear around illness. I've beat the cancer and don't believe it will be back. Compared to cancer, CFS is a cakewalk, so I don't have anything to fear. I don't monitor my activities as I don't wish to be a slave to CFS. However, it still catches up on me with flares that I can't predict. I have a neurodivergent brain, so I forget stuff all the time. It means I'm terrible with routine. It also means I'm not constantly monitoring and worrying about my last crash and trying to avoid the next one because I've already forgotten what the original trigger was. It means when I crash, I'm taken by surprise and then remember, "Oh yeah, that happened last time." So this technique likely works for a lot of over-thinking, anxious types, but this doesn't resonate with me either.

The brain can misinterpret symptoms as dangerous and this can be subconscious and keep the fear-symptom cycle going, you may also have some fear based thoughts / limiting beliefs that are subconscious. It takes conscious work to see changes

This was a bit for me, every brain retraining and neurological plasticity theory says you need to rewire thoughts and meditate to keep the ANS calm. Without that it’s just telling yourself I don’t care about symptoms- which I am trying to do but after 8 years it’s so automatic that it’s not that simple. So not sure how the two are connected
@lostmrsmoss

I agree. It's not that simple... at least not for me. I'm glad there are different approaches so we can experiment and do what works for us. Dan's less nurturing, just get over it approach might work well for some. I've had good success with vagus nerve healing, facing and healing old traumas, brain retraining and breathwork. Just don't give up, Freya. Take your time. Keep reaching for the light. You'll get there! ❤

Yes I have intense fear & rage that is repressed from a storm of issues happening at the same time including abuse extensive - this went on for ten eight years until I finally found a stable safe place to be but I am still unconsciously terrified & I am very angry.

Take time every day to feel those emotions in your body! There are some good somatic meditations that can help with this, journal it out, EFT, whatever works! You probably have some repressed grief, fear, and shame too--I had everything! It is so great when when we can face these emotions and afterwords it is amazing I am so much more regulated. We don't release it but consciously and unconsciously we are resistant to those emotions and our resistance keeps us stuck--the only way out is through.

That’s all true of a portion of chronic disease. Regarding something like covid, there’s vast amounts of research now showing persistent viral particles, microclots, brain abnormalities etc. Heart issues and myocarditis, lung and other organ damage. I think this is the backside of recovery. Meaning it’s very complicated and can take a long time to get through to this point where quelling the mind body connection is possible.

Im physically damaged dont think that this works for Uranium toxicity but will say maybe it helps in some relief but know this concept was used by three others fairly well known and profited from book teaching this concept all died, one apologized for dismissing real illness prior to passing and third was a physician with Lymes who even his own colleagues refused to accept Lymes was not a real illness, sadly it spread into his brain from lack of real care. At some point in time we have to be able to decifer truth and sadly as amazing as our bodies heal given the right things this truly is dependant on how severe the illness is and those of us who know this concepts keeps us suffering from lack of care we do need I just know I rather feel better now, not as Im dying in an ER while people giggle and say it was my lack of the brain body connection... been there, done it, after 10 years know it didnt work at all.

Certain physiological changes occur when we are stressed. So the fact that symptoms can crop up during stressful times does not conclude that what's happening is only a danger response from the brain. For example histamine levels rise due to stress and histamine plays a massive role in ME/CFS.

I am working with Dr Pierre Korys team and they mentioned that it may get worse before it gets better. This is most likely due to the gunk that gets freed up as the clots are broken down. So the fact that you got worse can probably be viewed as a good sign. I have been on anticoagulation therapy for about 5 months now … plavix, Eloquis, natto, and aspirin. Treating a vax injury. I have noticed slow but steady improvement. I tested a 3/4 on dr Jordan Vaughns microclot test 4 months ago. Testing again soon to see progress. Stay strong everyone!!

Seems like a lovely, caring, lucid, experienced guy, who we can be really grateful for caring and thoughtful about us and others, with loads of wise gems.... but in the first couple of years of chronic fatigue, after 35 years of absolutely loving exercise and movement, i would not believe that exercise was making me worse. I kept pushing through with the absolute belief that "Exercise must be making me better. And i love it." It was only after a couple of years that i realised and accepted that it was not. Helping the mind and its brain settle down, is a requisite for recovery, but is not always (usually?) the whole picture, especially after years or decades of detrerioration, progress and other dynamic change. While complexity can be a place to hide, please don't throw the baby out with the bath water by assuming you know anyone's else's experience or solution. It's a shame, cos simplicity is seriously seductive. Absolutely loads of thanks for all the gems though. Massively appreciated, and even more to Raelan for the vital support and insight this channel surely brings to so many.
