Not all things need to be functional, some just need to be fun. And this tiny, retro-futuristic cafe "racer" called the CFMOTO Papio XO, is a great example of that. The point is to laugh and have a good time.
I wish more motorcycle manufacturers would style bikes after the iconic sports bikes of the 80s and 90s. The Papio XO-1 reminds me a lot of the 1984 Yamaha FZR400R, which also had fairings with an exposed engine and round twin headlights.
I love it how you just laugh happily when you're riding it. That's why these bikes are called fun bikes, right? I love to own one but I am TOO FAT for this. 😅
We just got these in at our shop and my god they're adorable! I hope we sell a ton of them as spring starts. Great thing also, it doesn't look like a grom clone, it's more like a mini early GSX-R and really looks fun. So far the papio has been great out on the road, but I see these and the coming CT scramblers being big sellers. Now I know CFmoto has the 800 coming out as an NK model, but an SS would really be amazing too.
They release in Indonesia too. With affordable price, If I may say. Not cheap, because it got the same with PCX price range, but at least not as expensive as Dax or Monkey.
How tall are you? I'm 188 ND considering getting a papio. It's tooooooooooooooooooooo suit my taste. The last bike I felt so was cb650r, that's too much for me.
So is Honda's Grom, and they sell by the ton. For use in a city they're fine, just no highway use. But they're capable of over 55 mph if you hold the throttle long enough!
