as someone who's been fascinated with the abyssal fauna and flora since it's childhood, i can confirm that this playlist perfectly encapsulate it's title. just. this. sitting down here in darkness, while strange fishes and critter live through a peacefull existance surrounded by calming darkness. beautiful.

I've got great pain meds rn so, sorry if this is too weird and personal But I've had insomnia for as long as I can remember, and as a kid I would lay in bed on my back, really still, and try to remember that sensation that comes from swimming all day, when you can still feel the sway of the water, and I swear if I could manage to capture the feeling, I could sleep nearly instantly. This playlist took me back to that push-pull feeling, and if it ain't the meds, I'm very ready for rest. Cheers, all, and stay safe and healthy, as best you can. Thank you for this playlist.

I remembered a story , in the past there was an American naturalist who dove deep in the ocean with a bathyshpere( a type of submersible vessel ), he documented a couple of fish species and even gave them scientific names, but these species were never documented again by any other observer witch made the scientific community doubt the existence of said marine creatures

I know everyone else has their own interpretation, but to me, this playlist is the audio embodiment of slipping into a deep depression and that changing the way you perceive the world around you, the way you view everyone else who manages to be happy, like you're on the outside looking in, even if you are in the same room. Gotta be honest, the thought of slowly sinking into the deep sea (or lake, loch, bay, cenote or other watery depth) triggers a primal anxiety in me. Just seriously trying to imagine it now got me all verklempt! Which is funny because I love rivers and streams and even being near the ocean or whatever, and I learned to swim with no problems when I was a kid. Being able to see the bottom of the pool and what's around me makes a big difference. But the sea - the ocean? My distant ancestors got the heck out of there so I think I'll honor their struggles and sacrifices and not go back. That being said, your euphonic creation was most agreeable. High thumb!

I would love to see the Oceans Abyss. There are some You Tube channels in wich people travel to the bottom of the ocean in Submersible crafts and they have filmed so strange but lovely creature. But, because of immense pressure they cannot stay too long. But, in dreams, one can pretend to be a mermaid . And just have the cool water to travel in. And the picture shows a Manta Ray a beautiful and graceful sea creature.

Literally was scrolling through youtube like I do every night, so I can find ambience to sleep to that resonates with what I was thinking about/want to dream about. Scrolled a little bit in youtubes “Ambient Music” suggested tab at the top and got a little ways before I realized that underwater was a little niche and id probably have to search for it. I have been watching a lot of Ponyo and Way of Water, so I wanted something with that vibe. Then I see at the bottom: nobody, my favorite nightly ambience creator, made something for this exact thing less than 24 hrs ago. I truly am gods favorite.❤ thank you nobody for being a staple in my nightly routine.

i remember a few times while swimming i have imagined just taking a beep breath while underwater. i was just floating through the water and felt so at peace. i didn't take that breath. being underwater feels like being hugged by the earth, or what I imagine being in the womb to be like.
