AFL commission leave the game alone Rule changes to determine an outcome. Have your outcome. Players adjusted New issues arise. AFL keeps adjusting the goal posts. We now have a game that has moved away from what it truly was. Uncomplicated. We left with a mess. Unwatchable.

The AFL can't help themselves they take themselves way too serious and need to understand the AFL is owned by the clubs and the clubs are owned by the members. They like politicians are working for the members/ people. Unfortunately over the past 20 years they have been too busy telling us what to do then doing what their owners want them to do. They treated their owners with contempt making a big deal out of reducing the price of pies at the footy as if that was the only message the fans were sending to them. If that wasn't contempt for their owners nothing is.
McGuire basically wanting a free for all media access it seems. So from that, I presume Collingwood didn't have a media department during his Presidency and it was an open door policy for any and all media? No? It's a two way relationship, If the trust is there, then the access by the clubs to media will be.
Jimmy saying "everyone chill, toby and issac are mates etc" doesnt actually excuse the toby video. The reality is, it failed the pub test. It wont be done again. Its different if Toby does it off his own social media but this was a club media department jab. Thats the club against a player. Not exactly fair, punching down.
I think the way the club handled the exit was fantastic. The media in Western Australia are a joke. I have not read that gutter trash newspaper for years. In fact I would not wipe my dairy air with it. Yes that's arse in case you're wondering.... In fact to be honest if that paper became insolvent, I would stand out the front and have an insolvency Party
The whole GWS-Swans faux rivalry is so lame. It's incredible to think that the Sydney clubs think these little stunts won't be seen by people in Sydney as contrived desperate acts.
1000% it's just a pretend corportate rivarly because they're from the same city. I doubt anyone can name a great game or player v player rivalry from this 'derby' lol. There's one real derby in Australia and it's in SA, everything else is money making BS
