It's one of my favorite mangas, and the anime adaptation hasn't disappointed in the slightest so far (though I haven't had the chance to watch season 3 part 2 yet)

I really don’t get why the anime isn’t talked about, either! I love an anime that doesn’t just focus on the mystical or physical power of a person, but also their minds, and inventions that are used to overcome such enemies. It’s why I enjoy anime like the Apothecary Diaries, Ascendance of a Bookworm, Detective Conan, and other anime where the character relies more on smarts than other assets.

I fell in love with it last year and immediately got all of the manga. Chrome is one of my cosplays I do now, and I try to promote the series as a great teaching tool.

Dr Stone is FIRE! Not powers, no magic, NO BULLSHIT! Just smarts. Senku is a true scientist and engineer and he won't go the way of the brutes, weeding out the "undesirables," as tempting as that may be. He's bringing back everyone, because that's what's fair, come what may. I love the mentalist Gen as well, he's a slimy little devil but he's a valuable member of the kingdom of science. That said, I get why people might not be into this show at 1st glance. I remember accidentally starting with season 2 and I was like, what is this goofy shit!? So over-the top! But in context, it works. And like you said, the rare moments of backstory hit like a sledgehammer to the chest. Senku likes to play it cool, but his conviction is unstoppable and it shines thru in his iron will. He has a passion for knowledge and humanity that is something you don't see very often in shonen protags, and I AM HERE FOR IT! I'm so fucking fired up for season 3 that I can barely stand it! Thursday Funday!

Seen that you were putting respect on Dr.Stone's name so in turn I'll drop some respect on your video. (my personal theory is that a lot people are just kinda dumb and dumb people don't want to watch shows about learning,it hurts their brains to process new information that has any legitimate real world application and that's why Dr.Stone goes under the radar)

Absolutely. Dr stone is the first anime that i watched without someone elses recommendation. I was scrolling through crunchyroll one day and saw the poster so i decided to check it out cause i thought Senkus design was cool. The first episode was very good and the next three were an instant hook. I finished the entire season in a day. I have been keeping up with it since then. I recently watched season 3 and its still going strong. I would highly recommend the series.

The only reason I know about this show is because my brother has always been a mini Senku, knows tons about science and just about the world and he likes this show so I tried watching it with him and now we are weekly viewers as soon as the new episode drops we are watching it. Highly recommended

I honestly love how realistic this show is not the science, but how it doesnt put the idea that any fight you start you win it shows how you can loose what you most value, but if you stay resilient you will find a way to come above

Mt friend was the biggest anime hater I've ever seen. I made a deal with him and forced him to watch 1 episode of Dr. Stone. He watched all of it. Some may think I am dumb, stupid or insane but I've watched the entire anime like 5 times and it wasn't boring at all. That's how precious Dr. Stone is to me and I am really happy that someone is trying to show it to the larger audience.

People sleep on Dr stone Senku va is peak (sub) the characters leave an impression, the technological gap is huge but senku is able to improvise (yeah I'm looking at u viewers with those P.H. degree)

The first season was peak for me. The petrification, senku and teiju revived tsukasa and he becomes a threat in a world seemingly devoid of life. Ishigami village, the whole road map to cure ruri. I loved every bit. Season 2 was alright but it, to me wasn't as impactful or memorable

Fun fact: Dr Stone has the same creator as Eyeshield 21 That's why the story feels smartly put up very well together since it was done by a very experienced author.

My first impressions with dr stone was that it'd be like other anime that try to adapt science into the plot. Which it usually is. It usually ends up being the deal breaker with most shows because science is something I've loved for more than half my life. But the first episode itself got me jnto it. I realised how wrong I was. There are basically no errors with the science. There are a few oversights with some of the stuff senku does, but it's usually completely understandable and realistic. It's become one of my favourite anime and manga to date.

Definitely underrated. Clearly more of men's shows because I can't see women getting into this unfortunately, too goofy to be taken seriously. Plus it's very geeky which will throw off some people so I can see why there's trouble with anime traffic here.

I dont normally cry about any anime, but *SPOILERS* Watching Senku talk to himself as Tsuakasa (idk how to spell it) dies made me cry, he knows well he is dead, but he just wants to imagine he is still listening. It is so unique in this way, in every way, that it always leaves you wanting more and emtertained, you leave knowing a little more than when you started.

This show is pretty cool and interesting, but I’m trying to figure out why they are doing everything from a primitive approach, when clearly they still have technology from the 21st century in the current world, it’s cool because normally it’s always someone bringing knowledge from the future, but these are people from the past bringing superior technology to the current world, but like I said, these people are making it harder on themselves by building everything from scratch, I guess if they wasn’t it wouldn’t be a show called Dr. Stone. I am ten billion percent sure of that since it’s about science, sure it’s 3700 years later, but there’s no need to approach everything in a primitive fashion, even though it hasn’t been shown I’m pretty sure there are still stuff that they can salvage

I like s1 and Ryusui special. S3 part 2 is good but season 2 final is awful in my opinion. s2 is called "stone wars" yet at the "big fight" they fire 2 arrows and show their tank. Then tsukasa's side just give up.no fighting no nothing

Yes, it is criminal that this anime isn't more recognized. It needs more love from fans and get more people watching and talking about it. It pretty much stole my heart. I can't compare it to my favorite Attack on titan but I would put it as second favorite. It has good story, funny moments, great music and of course amazing characters. It's hard not to love all of them or like 90% of characters.

Maybe if everyone wasn't a Super Master of the skill they trained in and all teenagers, except one. By the time they build the boat a new character that is a master nautical navigator is introduced. Really?! Ok they go to this island and the same style bad guy as before. If this rinse and repeat story telling keeps up. Then when they do make a rocket to go to the moon don't be surprised if they unpetrified a NASA astronaut that is thirteen to navigate the rocket.

eh. i have now seen the first 2 seasons and i'll be honest. you over hyped this. its not bad, but its just too much talk and no action. To be fair it is entertaining but its just a little bit too much on how "smart " he is as a high school student that seems to b able to jsut do everything. too much talk too little over explaining and just nothing happening.
