BCP2 gonna be wild when we get wario shipyard, airship fortress, SNES mario circuit 1, figure 8 circuit, and toad circuit again but underwater this time
Daisy is an American citizen fr fr. This wave is at least on par with wave 4 for me rn. None of the tracks look bad. Wave 5 there was one bad track in, "have her home by 7:30" Wilds and I'm not seeing any tracks that are bad like that this wave.
Totally day 1 Castle Mii Suit Main (along with all the others). Still utterly confused on the inclusion of Ice World but this wave is shaping up to be a good one.
everyone's confused about why 1 tour track got cut, but im over here confused as to why half of tours mii suits got cut, like that was the only way we were gonna be able to play as hammer bro or nabbit in this game, but we just arent getting them? like the 18 we're getting wont even make it a round number now that the mii suits are gonna be across 2 rows, just very confusing
Really looking forward to this Wave! As a Wii Kid of I’m looking forward to the Wii tracks and DK mountain, but as someone who’s always had a soft spot for Ice World I’m pleasantly surprised it’s here! Probably not gonna be Wave 4 levels of amazing but still looks really good!
My ranking on hype. 8. Rosalina’s ice world: your only catching me playing this track if I’m doing a Grand Prix, I feel nothing, wish it was airship fortress like everyone else. 7. Daisy circuit: this is a very nice send off starter track in wave 6… why is DK mountain first then Daisy circuit..? It looks like a celebration in the town which I really like. Might be the underdog for wave 6. 6. Rome Avanti: I heard that this track is basic like every other tour track, so far Athens Dash been my only S tier tour track, but I’m hopeful for this one. 5. Madrid drive: same thing but WIGGLER WEDNESDAY! 4. Piranha plant cove: From tour gameplay I seen I’m very excited for this one, lots of potential. 3.Bowser castle 3 (snes): To see a SNES track been put so much effort in makes me very excited, on the snes I didn’t like it (skill issue) but I’m very excited for this. (Maybe a S tier snes course?!) 2. DK mountain: Never played double dash but holy this is a banger in Mario kart Wii, the shortcut is gone but I personally don’t care. I want to be Mario karted on that bridge like Daisy was in that popular Mario kart Wii clip 🤣 1. Wii Rainbow road: part of me wishes wii rainbow road was in wave 3 and 3DS rainbow road was in wave 6. Other then that, it’s perfect, it’s beautiful.
I actually don't mind Rosalina's Ice World, and I'm happy we're getting DK Mountain over Dino Dino Jungle. Would've loved to have seen Piranha Plant Pipeline, though.
All I'm gonna say is, I played 7 not so long ago and Rosalina's Ice World seems very underrated. it's actually the most out of wave 6 I'm excited for.😅
Daisy Circuit's new music just sounds so hollow. The steel drums or whatever just feel like they're 50 feet down the beach and doesn't have anywhere close to the same punch as the original. Also, it'll be a couple more weeks for my nuts to recover from the steel toed kick that was Rosalina's Ice World not only getting in but ending the trailer. The only benefit of having it in here is so that we don't have to worry about it in Mario Kart 9.
Is anyone else really bothered by the Pipeline situation? I loved the track so that sucks but there's a bigger issue, if getting all Tour tracks wasn't a priority for the DLC, why did they shove them into every wave and why were trash tracks like Paris, Tokyo, Sky High Sundae, and London brought over actual good tracks. I love the Tour tracks, but it just bothers me now. Either way I'm really hyped for this wave, I love every single track (especially DK Mountain it's my favorite track ever) and I really think this DLC is ending with a bang. Can't wait to see what the future of Mario Kart holds. Also, I believe SNES BC3 will be the best song in the game. They went all out on that remix and I can't believe we actually got a good SNES remake.
Honestly, what I think might have happened with Pipeline (and it's a *big* might) is that they had already planned out the Booster Course Pass to have every Tour track in it for preservation's sake (that's why the prefix leak happened in the first place). However, at some point during it's development, they were ALSO deciding on a retro track selection for the next Mario Kart game, and decided that Pipeline would be one of the returning tracks for some reason. So when they saw people complaining about the large amount of Tour tracks in the Booster Course Pass, they cut Pipeline and replaced it with either Daisy Circuit or Rosalina's Ice World, to make fans happy while also having all the Tour tracks preserved to some capacity. That would explain why all the bad tracks from Tour were added (I disagree London is among them though, New York is way worse).
@@mailpaper7754 Idk. Literally the only thing I can think of is they scrapped it because they decided to add it to the next game, and they only scrapped it and nothing else because Nintendo
@@ZombieManF I think the best possibility is it was scrapped late in devlopment because of the camera issues, most of the track you'd just be looking down so they decided to quickly put together Daisy Circuit.
Fun Fact: in Madrid drive The part where Mario was gliding at the water dock, that building on the all the way right, behind those plastic trees is the Museum we race inside
Man i hate that daisy is bribing nintendo officals to make sure that her tracks get in the bcp meanwhile all these hard working toads and their stage gets left out
I'm 100% sure RIW will be an improvement, i checked the trailer, and i noticed something blue after the first turn, I'm assuming that's a halfpipe, so they clearly put effort to make it Better Plus, if we get this one now, we'll get Baazar, Shipyard and probably one of the Wuhu tracks instead in mk9
Madrid Drive is the best Tour City track imo! - Soccer Stadium - Goomba Shoe kicking a Football - Museum - Train Station - Market - Sleeping Wigglers What more can you ask for
Rosalina's Ice World was disappointing at first, but with how pretty it looks now I'm willing to give it a 2nd chance. Hopefully it clicks with fans this time
I'm honestly excited to see what they do with Rosalina's Ice World! It wasn't a bad track really, just sorta forgettable and not really unique, but it definitely had potential to be remade into something big! Really I'm just hoping it gets a bit more Galaxy influence.
Honestly should have been Shy Guy Bazaar, whu huu loop or Wario Shipyard instead of Rosalina’s Ice World(still not a bad track tho) but every other track are straight up BANGERS and I’m still going to enjoy it regardless. Easily looking like the best wave!!🔥🔥
My Ranking (Yall can crucify me after you hear me out) 8: Mandrid - Ngl it's half decent. Still the second best of the standard city courses though. Speaks less about how bad the stage is and more about how high quality the rest of the courses are. 7: Rome Avanti - Best of the standard city courses. Same reasoning as 8. 6: Daisy Circuit - Really looking forward to this. Never played Wii so this is a first-time for me : ) 5: Pirahna Plant Cove - Fun tropical course with great theming and music. It being the only non-city track with alt laps every lap is a plus. 4: Wii Rainbow Road - I have never played wii, so I don't have much of a emotional connection to it. It looks really good, music is a bop, and gameplay looks hella good, it's just I prefer the other tracks. I'm more of a DS and GBA Rainbow Road guy. 3: DK Mountain - It would be 2, but I can't do the old funny and targetshock people in the cannon to Lakitu them for a solid 30 seconds. At least I can still abuse the bridge at the end : ) 2: Bowser's Castle 3 - It's another Bowser's Castle, and they actually bothered to properly remake a SNES course. That reason enough propelled it up to this high. Gameplay itself looks great at well. 1: Rosalina's IceWorld - Okay I get it, you all think its mi- why do you all have torches and pitchforks? Anyways, it's genuinely one of my favorites from 3DS, the only thing I didn't like about it was 1: The Underwater section and 2: Halfpipes not being in 3DS. From the looks of it, they may have actually added halfpipes right before the water section, and added a shortcut or two. Theming is great, music is an ABSOLUTE BOP, and I'm a sucker for snow courses. Aight you can crucify me now.
I'm one of the 2 people who actually likes Rosalina's Ice World (should've been Wario Shipyard though), but they really replaced it over Piranha Plant Pipeline?? The single best remaining Tour track???
i’m the other rosalina’s i’ve world enjoyer and tbh i just never liked wario shipyard. The music is very mid TO ME and ig the actual track is good but that’s abt it.
@@korN72 You're so right about the music being mid (hell, I'd go as far as to say it's trash) but honestly it's a top 3 nitro track from 7 for me, alongside Rainbow Road and Piranha Plant Slide.
@@Sir_Musty i forgot to mention that piranha pipeline wasn't made specifically for 8 deluxe since the pathways would feel too enclosed and difficult to navigate around.
I think that Daisy Circuit and Rosalina's Ice World are aesthetically some of the best tracks we've gotten. Even though I'm biased, I can admit their layouts aren't incredible. But at least the "mid" tracks this wave are very beautiful to look at. Rosa Ice World is one of my favorite tracks from 3ds so I'm very glad it's back. They did this for me 😁😁😁😁😁
I've become Bowser Castle 3's biggest soldier ever since it hit Tour and I'm glad to have won, even if I saw it coming from a mile. I live for SNES tracks getting actual remakes Also this is the first wave in a while where I kinda don't care too much about the Tour cities. Madrid has godly music and Rome is kinda chill ig but otherwise I don't like them as much as I do Vancouver, Singapore and Athens lol. Cove is awesome though
I wasn't 100% sure about the thought of Wii rainbow road being added due to me thinking that it would look how it did in tour but now that I've seen it in the trailer it looks great I don't mind rosalina's ice world being included but there were so many better courses they could've chose I'm really happy about DK mountain being included it was either DK mountain or Dino Dino jungle and I'm not a fan of Dino Dino jungle so I'm glad they chose DK mountain I have absolutely no idea why daisy circuit is here, there are better courses from Wii *cough cough* toad factory *cough cough*
Ice World definitely wasn't helped by being the final spot in the trailer after seeing all the other bangers lol excited to enjoy this wave overall, we're gonna be eating good in the Factory in Mario kart 9 🔥
Disappointed of how they chose Ice World instead of Airship Fortress, DS Rainbow Road, Wario Shipyard or Gcn Rainbow Road back but i am glad that Wii Rainbow Road is back
With how many tracks were in this BCP alone, never mind Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as a whole, I find it interesting that this is the first Mario Kart game (8/8 Deluxe) since Super Mario Kart that doesn't have a single course based off Luigi. (Barring the possibility of a Booster Course Pass 2 of course, which would be wild and make me go "Wowie Zowie") Before I rank these courses, just to address, for anyone that feels hype towards any track that I'm not, I'm happy for you that you got the track you wanted and it's not a shot at you that I'm not hyped about some of these tracks. As for how I'd rank these tracks based off hype 8-6) The Tour Tracks: I'm interested in trying out these tracks, but I've never played any of them before as I would only play Tour sporadically here and there, so I can't pretend I'm exactly hyped for them. Based off how interesting they look from the Wave 6 preview, I'd go 8) Rome Avanti, 7) Madrid Drive, and 6) Piranha Plant Cove 5) Wii Daisy Circuit: The music is nice and it looks nice, but I can't say that I'm hyped to see this track back. Just not a track that screams exciting to me. 4) 3DS Rosalina's Ice World: Not a bad track, but I did find it one of the more boring tracks to play in Mario Kart 7, especially as a Special Cup track. 3) SNES Bowser's Castle 3: It's really nice to see how redesigned it is. Almost feels as refreshed as some of the Super Circuit tracks felt when they were brought into Mario Kart 8. 2) GCN DK Mountain: To this day, it is my favourite track in Double Dash, and I'm so hyped to see it back. 1) Wii Rainbow Road: I always found this to be one the harder Rainbow Road courses in the series and found it very fun to play. Between 7's version in Wave 3 and this Rainbow Road, I feel very happy with the Rainbow Road courses selected for the game. It's nice to see the shortcuts were kept in tact as well. GBA Rainbow Road for MK9 hopefully? (Assuming the shortcut potential is kept in)
Why do people hate Rosalina's Ice World? ;-; I get it, Piranha Plant Pipeline is an actually Over Decent track, but I don’t know how many 7 tracks we had, but we definitely needed space for 1 more. Now, look, they could’ve just added Wario's Shipyard, I know. But they should’ve added it over Toad Circuit instead. Rosalina's Ice World is a cool track (No pun intended). And it’s okay if you don’t like it, but I just want you to know that… 1. It’s at least better than Toad's Circuit 2. They definitely should’ve added Pipeline over that Ice Cream track in the first place (forgot it’s name) Your opinion, though, I will not throw a fit about it.
I love rosalinas ice world, it was amazing in mk7, and now I can't wait to race on it in mk8d, if you ask me I'm glad they brought it back, it was one of those tracks I predicted back when wave 4 or 5 was coming out but I told myself Nintendo might not bring this one back ,now it's in wave 6, so Im pretty exited
I elaborate more in my Mario Kart 7 Rankings but in short, it never captured me in the slightest along with being an ice track, a theme i already dislike Like Moonview, i might just surprise me so im keeping an open mind but right now, i just dont see what everyone else does
A sir musty reaction??!! Also peachette has really grown on me since the reveal I’d say the wave is a 9/10. Even though I’m a massive wii fan, if they just replaced daisy circuit with airship fortress it would’ve been a 10/10 wave cuz I do like Rosalina’s ice world.
I agree that Rosalina's Ice World isn't one of 7's greater tracks, but I disagree that it's bad. The track design is interesting and takes you to several locations, and the music's actually pretty good. The only complaint I have is the theme, which really felt like it could've played more into the Super Mario Galaxy vibe.
Here I think about the Wave 6 Track Wii Rainbow Road- I personally perfer the Original but this isn't too bad and willing to play it. SNES Bowser Castle 3- Yes, I do want to see another SNES track in the booster cups because the other one....we don't want to talk about. Daisy Circuit-......Okay then DK Mountains- Not much to say since is already a good track in GCN and in Wii Rosalina Ice World- It my least favorite Nitro MK7 which is C tire but unlike Moonview Highway which is Shit and Trash and F Tier Worthy. I do actully want to see how they going improve on it. The 3 tour Tracks- I don't know if they going to good or bad but looking foreward to it.
Basically to summarize the remaining Tour tracks for you: Piranha Plant Cove: It's the only non-city track from Tour that has multiple variants, which vary significantly in quality (1st is eh, 2nd is great, 3rd is in between). But the music and theming is fantastic, and they haven't even shown the best part of the song yet. Rome Avanti: Basically the opposite of Cove, where the theming is pretty eh (one of the most generic tracks from Tour) but the layout is genuinely really interesting and fun, with a bunch of cool turns and shortcuts on all three variants. Madrid Drive: One of the best city tracks from Tour, since all three variants have really fun set pieces and hazards (1st has the Goomba Shoes in the stadium, 2nd has a bunch of gliding sections over fountains, 3rd has you drive through an art museum), and the music is excellent. Piranha Plant Pipeline: Similar to Rome in that the theming is generic, but the layout is fantastic, with a bunch of well placed half-pipes and split paths that each have different hazards, almost like a maze; it even has a spinny thing like DS Bowser's Castle. Shame we won't be getting it since Nintendo thought Daisy Circuit was a better fit for its slot for some reason.
I know people are mad about ice world replacing ppp but Nintendo needed a somewhat winter track so ice world is a good pick (also the same day the trailer came out it was galaxy’s 16th anniversary🤓☝️)
