She's thinking she's glad to hear his voice and even though he's upset he's at least talking to her. She knows that her involvement really hurt him and I think that if she were to just told him her side before like when he first got out the hospital then maybe he wouldve been mad but then he wouldve forgiven her but the fact that it came from Verna is why he feels so betrayed because they all like conspired together behind his back and determined his fate without his knowledge and input.
Excellent scene...up there with one of my faves. What's great is the parallel between them and the couple arguing in the kitchen. The end...two hurting women who've betrayed their men. Excellent!
They always have cases that reflect what they are going through. The lady she's representing asked Olivia later how do you fix betrayal? Olivia said to forgive yourself first and then receive forgiveness. She's always giving advice that she needs to take herself.
I know I'm commenting in 2021😂 but yes! They're also figting like a married couple and that contrast with the other couple makes it even more poignant!
These two people are very powerful the president of the United States and DC fixer who happens to be in love with each other showing vulnerability with each other.
What I love about this scene is even though Fitz is obviously still hurting from Liv's betrayal, he is now at least able to speak about the hurt, which means he is on his way to forgiving her. This scene rings so true to me, because I been in his shoes, and the pain speaks volumes as to how much he loves this woman. Liv has finally started forgiving herself, which is good because it will also force Fitz to have to forgive her, since she will no longer play the part of his emotional whipping board. Very good scene.
Kiki Mc Two things: First thank you. I put the comment on the right video. Second, I have video that I wanted to share with people in my circle. How do you do that?
quiet storm I think we have all been in Liv's and Fitz's shoes. We have hurt and been hurt, the fact that he called her even if it was a negative call still shows the healing process has begun. It took me a long time to learn how to forgive myself. Prayer helps - Once I realized God had already forgiven me, I was finally able to forgive myself. Good luck.
i love this scene..i love the duality between fitz and olivia's conversation as well as lisa edelstein and that dude's argument...i love that fitz is so hurt and vulnerable and selfish with the fact that he's hurting because he really just felt like she didn't believe in him. its realistic. i love it. i just love their chemistry even when the olitz boat isn't sailing smoothly. I love how guilty she feels and how bad she feels too and how she's trying to tell him how bad it hurts too..its just realistic.
Yes if you notice alot of Olivia cases relate to what Olitz is going through and this one definitely relates and it's happening the same time that Olivia and Fitz are going through their situation. Fortunately, the case they were working on the wife betrayed the husband just like Olivia betrayed Fitz. If Olivia were to have just explained to Fitz her side instead of just hearing what he said then they couldve made up then or if she were to go to the white house and talk to him all of this wouldve been forgiven.
A lot of relationship like fitz nd liv have numerous test throughout their relationship ,and what is the reason that she ruined fitz...and you can feel that fitz hurt when he didn't tried to say anything when liv told him that she hang up the fon.. But still always they can't live without each other because they really both know that their trust, love nd respect nd communicating are still with them nd the reasons why they're always win 🏆 ❤ to stay in this relationship
I feel like Fitz is whining most of the time, he pushes his hurt onto Liv or to Mellie when he's betrayed or feels betrayed. But she wanted him to win so Olivia jumped on the band wagon.
They committed treason to get him in a job he only wanted to prove his emotionally abusive father wrong. Who’s at fault here besides everyone but him? He didn’t rig the election. Olivia believed he could do the job but not *get* the job on his own merits. Everybody was too hungry for power and Olivia by her access to do what she thought was best instead of what was fair. They made him a complete fraud like his father always told him he was and he’s supposed to be what grateful? Not pissed off? Especially at the one person he thought actually believed in him.
@@jaminwaite3867 No one's saying he should feel grateful, but it was already done with, because Hollis messed with the voting machine. Cyrus wanted to be on top, Verna wanted him as president, Olivia believed in him and wanted him to win. With all the fighting done to win they didn't want to or couldn't let go of winning. Secondly Olivia knows best about EMOTIONALLY abusive fathers and mothers. If he wanted to get a job or any job on his own merit he should have relied less on his father, cut him out of his life. I'm just saying that he doesn't need to throw a hissy fit, be mature and rational. You're mad at your girlfriend, your advisor, and your wife while balancing a country you're running, if you can juggle all of that you should be able to maintain some type of balance, some type of way to discuss it all rationally instead of snapping at everyone individually as if that were going to fix anything.
If I can help you, the song is actually a song of Chad Fischer, and it's available on his album of scandal song, the tittle of this one his "Cyrus breaks down" it's not available on youtube but it's on iTunes or Deezer
This is the second attempt to come between Fitz and Olivia but it didn't work. They have had numerous of tests throughout their relationship for the past 7 seasons but their love was too strong and fought through it.
I think she's just an "okay" actress and Tony Goldwyn's no better. But somehow these two press the best out of each other and I don't think they're acting. That love affair is REAL. Remember, Kerry was single when Scandal started. And once you go Black.....
