@@raialasio1574 I have no idea. I've barely started to read it and I know of a couple of events that happen (like thw fact that one of the 2 characters that fight here is no longer a virgin).
I never understood that logic. Tbh, that was what made me dislike the anime a bit more than it deserved; the ridiculous fact that Ikki's family thinks of him as a waste of space... like, BRUH! HE'S YOUR FAMILY! BLOOD AND FLESH! No matter how useless one is in combat, that shouldn't make the family shun over your efforts... Even worse, first NOW they acknowledge him?! What about his battle with Kirihara? Stella? The Last Samurai's daughter whose name I don't remember? Tbh, the anime depicts it as if it wasn't about him *proving* his worth - it was about his family looking past their retarded prejudice of him and accepting him as a part of the family. Yeah, yeah, he may not be a good Blazer because of his 'stats' *lmfao as if that matters at all* - he's still an exceptional samurai, and you can't overlook that. That's one thing that's absolutely unforgivable. His sister does justice in absolutely hating her father, because he deserves 10 daughters hating him to the core of their hearts. It would be better if Ikki's father was here to cheer him up. It would've been another' cheering someone up makes them strong enough to overcome stupidly powerful foes' clichés, but it would show his father's development and processing acceptance of his dedicated son... like, his father isn't even there. lol
@UniCops Minor spoiler here, believe me, you would understood once you have met and known Ikki's father more. If there will be an S2, we will meet his father and things would be all much more clear for both Ikki and audience/reader/us. Also- Touka is not stupidly powerful foes' clichés, because right after this match, a twist of fate will find its way to our F-Rank's Blazer, now that's what i call- "A cliché , to be sure, but a welcome one!" wwwwwW If you later decide to read the LN, I suggest you might as well re-read this fight, the martial arts element is stronK in this one. (also in every other fights)
I mean, I had an idea that the LN would uncover much more for my picky mind to sate itself with. I guess it was a case of morals that struck me against Ikki's father. I know that Touka isn't a 'Jiren', because I assumed that her stats focused on one thing; if you imagined us having stat points, then she would focus all her stat points in speed and attack power. I wondered if Ikki was able to one-hit KO her because of her lack of endurance, which she must've sacrificed during her training in favor of speed. She's like a glass cannon, and Ikki didn't have to be MUCH faster than her in order to deal a fatal blow to her. In the end, I saw it as if her small endurance brought her loss. Perhaps I just want to see more of Ikki's actual training and the clear fruits that it bears before I can finally settle in this anime. Then we can see certain moves of his and think 'Oh, he did practice with that skill back then... I hope it works now'
@@UniCops The thing with Ikkis father is: I know he just wants to maintain the system, but he doesn't need to neglect his son for that to be honest. I know the light Novel is still ongoing, but I feel like there is more to Ikki then what we have seen so far. I mean, why was he treated like that in the first place? I feel like there might be some relly big secret regarding Ikki. A secret, that might be something like: Ikki will be dangerous, if he gets too strong, that's why his father and grandfather did not want him to do anything. His dad could've just encouraged him to do something else, but they did not want him to do anything! Why? Because he's dangerous or something? I just hope we get some closure on this before the story ends.
eh its hard to sell anime's that fill the cast with females my friend harem is starting to die out which is to me a good thing but yea this show was actually good
I feel so hurt when everyone say this anime is bad... I loved this anime, on surface i can see it looks a little off but there's so much more depth to the fight if u take the time to watch it. I think it's really good
I know what you mean. As far as fighting goes I felt like this anime actually portrayed it rather well and emphasized the tactics needed to win duels. You can be outclassed and still win if you make good use of your strengths. That seems to be a major theme for the series. Even in this scene the only reason he won was because his opponent decided to take him head on for no reason other than honor. It would have been easy to dodge the attack and then cut him down once he was exhausted yet she decided to give him a chance. Even when his opponent did exactly what he wanted to do he still had to push himself past the natural limits of his body to win.
Not to mention that the main romance part of it actually *looks* like the characters are a couple and isn’t just a cock-tease from start to finish. I don’t usually say this about this type of anime since I always have low expectations for these tournament school settings, but I have to say that this is actually a diamond in the rough.
I loved this anime too, so much that I decided to read the manga, and let me tell you, the manga is even better, like, a lot! Not to say the anime isn't good, like I said, I loved it, but the manga.. you should see this fight in the manga, it actually shows why he is called a devil... I won't say more, let me just say this, watch this fight in the manga and you will see that it will convince you to read the rest of the manga.
In this moment Ikki, with finely honed muscle control, cut off all unnecessary bodily functions, at the moment of impacts he couldn’t see, hear, feel, smell, taste or breathe, all his strength devoted to a single strike that moved faster than light His ‘One minute Demon’ evolved into a ‘One Second Raksasha’
"Have you ever heard these words" itto shura Edit: wth 2k likes after 2 years, hell yeah! I’ll be back in two years to see another 2000 likes lol. Thank you guys.
I see so many hating on Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry, because of this. I don't think any of you have actually seen the backstory for this. Ikki's a dude with no real sense of magical power. He's going entirely off of squeezing everything out of one moment, and training himself to recreate sword styles just by seeing them in action, in a single fight. He literally fights on pure instinct and skill. Todou and the others fight on power, because they already had the magical power. Add on that because of this, Ikki was constantly called "The Worst One" and told he'd never be anything because of his lack of magical power... Yeah. Actually pretty good, if you ask me.
Alicia is an Otaku I've read the manga after I watched the Anime and oh boi, I cann tell you it's even more thrilling and intense in the Manga, that 2 page panel shot is just magnificent, truly beautiful art. And BTW, at this point the mange surpassed the Anime, but sadly just by 2 chapters :(
That was one of the most epic and most noble and honest anime sword fight i ever seen all my life and every anime i seen when i was seeing this first time i was like on my highest edge of the seat and soul and every fucking emotion i had i was so pumped and for that i give gratz to the creator of this anime XD
Braden Hamilton basically, what it does is permanently give you the quirk of whoever you touch, and the villain who has all for one (not going to name him because spoilers) already touched all might once when he was a kid so he has one for all lol
He also touched bakugo and ingenium, so the known quirks that he has are the arm engine thing, and explosions. He also has this weird magnet quirk thing but we don't know who he got it from. And the one for all super strength that he has is really really OP
@@hugorobilliard3742 Not really. You know about his mad minute from the previous battles. But he never before condenses all his skill, might, senses and even his very life into one perfect strike that wins in a single clash.
the better version of asterisk war, but for some stupid reason this didn't get a second season meanwhile the other did being VASTLY inferior in almost every category.
INNIT in sorry asterisk war is just utter shit man as soon as I saw Stella VERMILLION I got reminded of mio from testament of sister or whatever and asterisk war and asterisk war which I saw on Netflix is SHIT man SHIT
It's still a crime that this never got a 2nd season man...It was, without a doubt, one of the best harem animes and they left it with SO MANY CLIFFHANGERS.
"deep" AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Iam dead
Why is this so hated in the comments? I freaking enjoyied this anime and all the effort ikki put to fight everything and everyone is against him just to raise up and be prould... Again, why is this hated?
That'sKarma because people with discerning taste recognize that it's better than Asterisk War which premiered at the same time. They were essentially the same show, but while Asterisk War hit every trope in the genre and was popular enough for it that is gotten another season or two, this one subverted some of them (like having the protag and main love interest get together early on) making it different and therefore "bad."
pyrosianheir Man, i'm not and english mother lenguage so you are making to me difficult to understand if you admit the superiority of rakudai kishi no calvary, or not Can you be more accurate and don't use words like discerning or trope?
Discerning taste apparently lets you see that show that breaks the tropes that make its genre popular to a certain audience then targets the same audience is good. Majority of this anime is literally just, "hey this is what anime's like us usually do we did the opposite impressed?" while Asterisk war did the formula played the game and added stuff to it. Both are terrible in my opinion but asterisk war seemed better as a harem anime idk what this show wanted to be besides opposite day for a genre which is fun if your genre savy but..as a stand alone show half of that doesnt mean anything.
Aloe Anathema if you type"asterisk war" in RU-vid's search, on the first place you'll get 13 videos about why Asterisk war sucks, now go ahead and listen to others opinion.
Honestly one of my favorite series I’ve watched then mixing it with my hero you’ve really made a masterpiece and have gone beyond PLUSSS ULTRA ITTO SHURA
This battle scene in a nutshell MC:MY WILL TO WIN ARE STRONGER!!! SC:MY WILL TO WIN ARE MUCH MORE STRONGER !!!! MC:NO!! MINE ARE MUCH MORE STRONGER!!! SC: NO!!! IT IS MINE THAT MUCH MORE STRONGER !!! MC:AAAAARRRRRHHRRRRRRRRR SC:AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGHGHHGHGH *mc won*
Grand Greninja It is not that forced like you are making it look like... And the true is that like The Loli-sensei and the old man said, this wasn't Itto Shura, but it was IttoRasetsu, it is basically the same but the last one is more extreme and so, it causes much more pain to the body and it can only be used for some seconds. And later in the novel, the only time you will see something like this again is in the last fight of the tournament between Ikki and Stella, where despite being with almost no energy, Ikki gets up again and Regain his Magic Power and this time it is even stronger than before. And it was said by Eldenweiss (Eldenweiss is a girl who Ikki have fought against once and he lost. She is the strongest swordsman in the world) that phenomenon was called "Brute Soul Awakening" but I don't really know in what it consists since volume 10 is not yet translated and this happened in the end of volume 9
what i dont like about this scene is that its building up so much tension but then we dont even see a clash. its like you re watching someone cooking in your kitchen but you dont get any food in the end
Tears from this fight man Touka was a wall and a guide she helped Ikki achieve his dream in that one moment. They were both fighting with the aim to defeat the enemy in front of them and to prove themselves to the ones they love.
I am surprised they didn't take a break to talk about where they first learned there sword techniques, with a reprieve and 7 filler episodes where one of the struggles to find a hat that fits.
Agreed BoneBeast ! It was a bit too loud, and for those that have said that it was to drown out the original soundtrack, it didn't need to be as loud as it was. Maybe a fraction of decibels lower would have been ideal ;0
It totally does go with everything. Like you wouldn't even be able to think it wasn't for 95% of every shonen action anime, it even goes well written over the OSTs for a lot of sports anime.
Don't be confuse. the other guy mixing up this with the anime asterick that is 50% harem. Although this anime as harem in the tag it not really. Chivalry/rakudai is 1000%+ action, romance, fantasy, magic. At first episode it echi then few more action, romance, fantasy, magic garanteed x100000%
The organizers don't want the boy to win so they basically tortured him for a while before the fight, these two end up just going for a 1 swing winner takes all. This fight decides who represents their school at the upcoming tournament
What Frah said is true but it also isn't to the death, they have the ability to make their swords pass through the enemy and just drain their energy. However it is possible to do death matches if I remember correctly.
It’s not really a death match. The duel could end multiple ways. If one surrender, or their weapon broke or death wins the fight. It’s a school tournament they have ever year to see their top students represent their school to compete in a tournament where they fight other schools.
Did they censor out the part where one of them gets stabbed through a vital and dies a slow grueling agonizing death bleeding out on the floor while realizing how dumb of an idea it was to duel with pointy objects?
Fuck off mate, this anime is only trash in terms of generic lightnovel guy and uninspired world/premise, but it has ambitious art and better romance (though still not great) than 99% of anime.
i dunno, i found this "you say run goes with everything" untrue... Most of the videos i seen so far are, just to be modest ..lame. Hardly even fit any part of them, even there, i guess it MIGHT fit this battle if it would start at like 30 seconds. I mean in Hero Academia , it goes perfectly with the battle "ooh it got more intense, guess what music gets more intense also.." here... all that talk under the part where it should be action already... no, i think this is an awesome music, and i love it, but im actually happy it doesn't go with everything, i dont want picture in my mind about this music paired with lame as **** videos... So ye, some video is so-so, rest... garbage... at best you could say this music fits MOST fight scenes, not everything. But every ***** just keep making jokes, Pluuus Uuultra.. uuhuhohhoho, not even caring if it fits or not [probably doesn't even notice if it does or not],, just cause oh ye its cool to say that and say that it goes with everything yeaaa, im cool now.... But ye, i guess this music can make bad things better, not necessarily this anime, but something.
Holy shit this anime looks as generic as generic goes. Wow another magic highschool with a ranking... Does it have a Queen of Swords title or some edgy title like that? But You Say Run just makes everything better.
There is no ranking system with titles Toka was just the strongest student in the school and ikki is rand as the worst due to 0 aptitude in magical power ( but he is regarded as one of the greatest swords men in the world) . The only titles used in the anime was The Last Samurai which belonged to the words greatest swords man a normal human who in his prime could defeat A rank blazer aka magical knights. The worst One which which belonged to the MC because of his 0 talent as a magical knight and the Sword Eater which belonged to Kuraudo because his device allowed him to dominate swords men with his sheer speed power range and his marginal countering and the God of War which belonged to the old man at 2:45 because of his desperado status. Maybe watch the anime instead of judging it scrub you proably watch Naruto and one piece and think their good lmao
He is known as the worst student because of the system or you can say he's trash because he has no magic talent. In reality he's the strongest due to his fighting style, experience and ability to actually use a real life weapon. Also, in this video he's in the finals fighting for the position in the next inter-schools competition, so again, calling him weak sounds like prejudice. You can name it generic but it surprised most people since it's a Romcom (unlike Asterics, that shit is a Harem).
I liked the anime BECAUSE of the main character. His motivations and background are interesting. His behavior is much more realistic than a normal anime protagonist. He has flaws that he acknowledges and works around. He isn't afraid to lean on his friends but he also goes above and beyond for them. I don't understand why this anime is disliked. The only thing I can think of is that it didn't fit with what people expected it to be. Therefore they tell themselves it must be awful. I found it to be very enjoyable.
I never seen this anime, but from the looks of it, he just beat up a girl. That is so sexist, and homophobic since the writer didn't want him to fight a guy. And i can't believe they assumed both their genders. That is sooo transphobic. So triggered. Dislike.
It's pretty much a common comment tbh. There isn't anything special about it since people/kids of this generation usually just spew out these type of things because they think beating a dead horse over the head is amusing.
Vicho LovesTurtles Not in my opinion my friend, i'm sorry that you didn't appreciate the show but someone do, i personally loved how ikki fight against everything and against his inferioriry to raise himself and claim the glory he deserves
I didn't manage to stick with either Asterisk or Rakudai for very long, but I remember I dropped Asterisk cos I simply disliked the show while I just sorta stopped watching Rakudai cos there were better things to watch that season and I forgot about it. tbh, i'm not exactly sure anymore which was which. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Those who have never seen the anime will never be able to comprehend the emotions the feelings we experienced when when we watched this episode I will recommend this to everyone watch it guys you will love it.
This is by far the best "you say run goes well with everything" vid ive seen , espiecally if you've watched the anime. GOOSEBUMPS. btw we need season 2
