Now if you want to really brag do that with some bots. That is a nightmare I don't wish on anybody.

Honestly, bugs defence is way harder. They can breach up onto the top straight away if you're not careful, chargers and bile titan just stroll straight through the gates, and in general they just don't stop pushing through. Bots, even on Helldive, is easy.

@@fatherofwar1203 yea I noticed this, there’s a marked difference between fighting the bugs and bots on these defence missions. bugs have a tendency to swarm the gates thanks to being nearly all melee attackers, which makes mortars worse, as those will now start damaging the gates, HMG emplacements and standard sentries such as Gatling and autocannon are much better options, there are even spots on the second gate where you can place them, that allow the sentries to clear the ground in front of the gates more easily. Throw in sufficient anti-armour and you should be good against the bugs, you can also at least take the ECM mortar, as that does no damage to structures, and allows you to shut down the big guys. Since the bots are nearly all ranged attackers, mortars work MUCH better here, as they’re not going to be standing right in front of the gates, so you don’t damage them with your own mortars. ECM and standard mortars are the go to option here, along with auto cannons and missile sentries, make sure you carry lots of AOE anti-tank weaponry for this, as you’ll be against waves of medium armoured enemies that can shrug off your small arms fire like it’s nothing. The scout walkers and devastators are the main issues you’ll need to be dealing with, and dispersed among them will be hulks, tanks and striders. As such you want automated defences capable of dealing with the chaff, while you and your team target the big stuff.

@Anomaly-uz9pr doesn't gatling take longer? I was thinking cluster. You might be thinking strafing (I don't use so I'm not familiar) that was my 2nd guess
