I feed my guppies good quality flakes ,algea wafers frozen and live foods but on a Sunday I don't feed them anything I've always done it that way it seems to work for me.
guppy vids r the best i feed spirulina flakes, good quality red flakes and a good quality bug based 52 protein percentage food, peas and garlic sometimes.. unfortunately no live foods available near me but this seems good
'Tetra Guppy Colour Mini Flakes' is my default for a good community tank. I feed it to everything in my tank. Discus, Guppies, Angelfish, Tetras, Shrimp The title 'colour flake' when it comes to this Tetra product, is not just a marketing scheme. The fish are not only healthy but they have healthy colouring on them. Whenever I cull shrimp I add them to my community tank. The creative ones last for a few weeks. The rest is food for the fish Edit: I also feed live bugs and critters that live on the floating plants and live in the water itself. I hadn't heard that brine shrimp and daphnia act as laxatives, interesting! If I get guppies again (ahem when) I'll have a much better menu available for them 😁 Thanks
I do a DIY repashi with equal parts chlorella & brine shrimp in agar agar to set it & store it in 1cm cubes (I can't believe they make the cutest little ice cube trays for that - amazon).
Dos this work with guppy Endler hybrids I bought some femal “endlers” but it turned out they where guppy’s and yeah now I have a cobra Endler cobra guppy female hybrid baby
Do you think you could just feed your guppies live mosquito larva from the wild. Its skeeter season here i can scoop them out from every bucket an puddle in the neighborhood. Think its safe for feed the to my guppies? Or will they get sick or catch something from wild larva?
its been a month and a half i had a breeding tub setup becoz my guppies werent breeding in main community tank i suspected soft water so i picked 3fem and 1 male endler to breed and added lots of cover and hard water still they didnt breed...now i have put them back with the community and brought some new albino full red males hopefully they will breed now... i have good filtration , lots of live plants, made my food quality better and water is hard and conditioned what is the thing missing becoz my guppies arent breeding ? i think i have all the things i saw on the internet needed for a guppy to breed but its still not happenening ... do u think theres some secret tips or some hiddn problem so i could boost their breeding and make them breed fast? i dont know what i am missing could u tell me some reasons and solutions
