wondered how to make a main menu in roblox studio? or how to create a shop which has working GUI? ive made lots of 2024 roblox scripting tutorials about all the different bits of roblox to give you some up-to-date information about all of its properties and events.
my goal is to simply give some insight on how to use the various features and instances roblox studio, and show you some fun stuff you can do with them. thanks for checking out this roblox scripting tutorial :)

For splatoon, couldn’t you use a surfacegui on the ground and have a viewport in the surfacegui, and in the viewport, make new instances of shapes (meshes) at the location of the player, so that it is projected onto the ground as a flat image? I mean, it’s definitely not as optimised as it should be, but it’s surely more optimised than this sort of tiled-voxel system you’ve done with the parts, also, you could easily overlay textures if you used viewports.

Splatoon is actually one of my favorite franchises right now, it feels like a shooter game thats actually unique and works, with multiple playstyles, and i love it, so when i saw splatoon on the thumbnail i had to click (You should check it out if ya have a switch)
