Another dose of weekly highlights, this time featuring one of the first times I get to pull off an ancient Slinger tech. And some other less mystical endeavors too, I guess. Edited by: / simpingforotz Outro song: / its-all-a-dream
Why play DBD when you can just watch and Otz and save yourself some heartbreak? On a serious note, love the positivity you continue to bring to such a demanding and brutal game.
@@LeviJayy The Incapacitated Status effect. Pinhead’s chains apply it while connected, and they prevent you from leaving. If you’re downed while Incapacitated, it blocks the gates for an additional 5 seconds to ensure a pickup.
1:00 Since a lot of people are asking about it, I’ll provide specifics. Pinhead’s Chains apply the Incapacitated Status Effect while connected to a survivor, a very rare debuff. Incapacitated prevents survivors from interacting with generators, eachother, or even leaving the trial through the gates. This effect persists for as long as you have the status effect. However, if you are downed while afflicted by Incapacitated, it blocks the gates for an additional 5 seconds to assure the killer can pick up the survivor. Claudette was downed while connected to a chain, so this is exactly what happened. The only other 2 instances I can think of this scenario happening is when a survivor is downed with Victor on their back, or if they’re downed by a hatchet with the Weighted Head add-on.
that feel when you unknowingly became one of Otz's mods lol I want to mention we hadn't talked to each others about our perks. We just brough blast mine on our own

"All of the decisions that you have been forced to make by perks that you are not running, that the survivors are running, make you a bad person" - actually accurate explanation of what playing killer feels like. The number of times I get flamed for "slugging" because I'm playing around DS, or flamed for tunneling because because somebody with BT tried to bodyblock for their un-hooker and I just waited it out. It's insane how many survivors fuck themselves and blame the killer. I still believe this game favors survivors if both sides are well skilled - but the problem is most survivors are so entitled that they throw perfectly good games because they think they should be able to get away with outrageous stunts, and then get caught/punished. Or when they taunt or get too flashy and it comes back to bite them - because again, they're too used to getting away with dumb stuff. I've been keeping track recently - of the number of games where I'm killer and I know for an absolute fact that a team could have had 2-3 escapes if they just agreed to leave someone behind, but instead ended up with 0-1 escapes because they threw so hard trying to get everybody out.
I am so so so so so excited for Albert Wesker to drop after Dredge! Thankyou Otz for your consistently entertaining streams! And for blessing us with Holly
Otzdarva... As a Guy With Gun enjoyer, that shot at the start cured my depression, healed my wounds, and elevated my soul to a higher plane of existence. Thank you Otz, I couldn't have achieved nirvana without you.
2:05 damn pyramid head got fixed after 2 years ! (Was playing him non stop then I made a break from august 2021 to yesterday), feelsgoodman to be able to be able to hit survs when there is a 1 cm slope
7:58 I did it! I got in the weekly compilation! Look at me go! But I still stand by my opinion that Dead by Daylight is better than DBD. You have not changed my mind. 😤
