Went on a 4 a.m. binge of this song because I woke up and couldn’t get it out of my head. Ended up here. I was excited to find a Band Geeks cover of it and was not disappointed. How about some love for the backing singer? I think that’s Richie’s wife? Great singer.

I grew up a huge Meat Loaf fan. While this is not great, it was really good, enough that I listened to the whole song through. I don't like most covers of ANYTHING, so to even get to that level I am highly complementing you.
I thought the same thing! Kinda funny, given the fact that many called Bat Out Of Hell a Springsteen rip-off/parody. This almost gives you a taste of what it would have sounded like, had it really been a Springsteen album.
