For me.. I relate with it as internal hate. I personally imagine myself and myself arguing with this audio, but otherwise, the expressions on this go really well! ESPIESCALLY the last 2 frames, beautiful work!
AAAAAA Those big round eyes and the big ol’ ears and his teeny body makes the most precious little baby The cartoon-ish style really enhances the impact of the words and the music, with those ginormous eyes mixed with the very simple art style allows you to focus entirely on his expressions, to show the emotions so clearly. The face when he says “oh god, maybe he never used to be…” is just so perfect as you can clearly see the pain as the realization just shatters his little heart to pieces. And then the dad, I love his design so much. The little crown, the way his ears curl up like horns, even just the way his nose points up instead of pointing down or just being a dot. It’s all so perfect, (and also, when I see his design, along with the trumpet sounds in the background, I get this very powerful wave of nostalgia for some reason? It’s the crown that does it I think, not sure why tho) And then of course Magus’ face at the very end is just so heart-wrenchingly… I don’t even know what to call it, it’s just… a punch in the gut. His lips are such wobbly lines, his pupil is all scribble-y, the tears rolling down his face. I just want to pick him up and hold him in my hands and cherish him and protect him forever. Not many artists I’ve seen have been able to capture emotion in a face so perfectly, you are so talented. (This is why I love cartoons - they give you so much more freedom of expression, in this case literally) I personally have never been in this exact kind of situation, but I can absolutely FEEL it. That line “I thought you did…” just hits so REAL. It’s so human and I love love love it. Sorry for the super long comment but I have watched and listened to this sooo many times in the past hour it’s insane, so I just had to leave praise.

@@jonatuber It depends. 666 was never the beast mark it was different variants of repeating numbers but any number can be made from adding beast marks together so this could be say 666 three times to equal the addition of them.
