You've changed Barney- Bride of the Gorilla (1951) starring Raymond Burr & Barbara Payton 

Bride of the Gorilla is one of my guilty pleasure movies. It's actually pretty good. Barbra Payton was a beautiful and capable actress, but her personal life overshadowed any chance she had to make the A list. Raymond Burr was a handsome man and always pulls it off in anything he does. With a few tweaks this film could have been a classic and not just a cult classic! The way they churned 'em out in the old days, I guess there just wasn't the time or the money.

Unfairly or not, movies like "Bride of the Gorilla", "I Married a Monkey" and "My Wife the Aardvark" are often blamed for the sudden spike in people becoming romantically involved with wild animals that occurred around the same time.

Funny I happened to be watching perry Mason when this popped up.Also noticed he gained some weight after this movie

It's true, you can't go into the jungle at night. Why? Because the elephants go parachuting then. Why are crocodiles flat? Because they went into the jungle at night. 🤪
