Beautiful walk through. I love the library, it’s a sanctuary, please everyone support your local library. I used to get bullied and was poor growing up, the library was my safe place. Reading took me away from my troubles.

The picture of Mom and the Laundry reminded me of the TV game show Queen for a Day. I know you are too young Kelly to remember that but, I always hoped one day my Mother would win. As a young girl my older sister and I had to do the laundry ( mostly diapers) in a wash tub with washing boards. Sure could have used that washer! My fondest memory is swinging on the T posts of the clothesline with the white sheets blowing in the wind. In those days children didn't wear shoes all the time and I watch my toes touch the white puffy clouds. All against the brightest Blue sky you could ever see.,,, Of course that was B4 I was old enough to help do the washing. 🤣🤣🤣

I would definitely call that buffet antique. It has to be from the 1920s or earlier.

Love the braided rugs, takes me back as well. My aunt had it to match her early American furniture. Bruiser was adorable! My daughter had a Cabbage Patch doll, the doll’s adoption papers had the same name as my daughter and had red hair and freckles, where my daughter had auburn hair and freckles across her nose. Like the vintage buffet, would love to have that piece. I, too loved the metal framed mirror, absolutely gorgeous. Omg, the beacon hill vanity was absolutely gorgeous, you were sooo right and saying that was a gorgeous piece of furniture! Absolutely stunning! The ReStore in my area is absolute garbage. It literally looks like the 80s threw up in there...that's all they have, and never seem to get anything decent. And yet they have incredibly high prices on everything in the store. Nothing even resembling the nice things/low prices I'm seeing here.
