It's annoying that everything in Whitney's life revolved around Britney. If she rejected Zack through her own choice fair enough, makes sense. She was going to give him another chance but then Britney has a talk with her and she has to change to do with Britney wants. I get as a parent you have to make choices that are good for your kids but it's just too much here. I really don't understand how you just instantly go from being strangers to "I love you, you're my daughter". Bianca and Whitney didn't even have this relationship till she was about 16/17. They've rushed this so much and I can't see anyone being this invested and in love with a kid they've known a couple of months? Britney has trust issues and yet she's so easily come around to Whitney. Awful writing and storyline.

@@CoolShorty yeah that makes sense but the immediate connection doesn't and having full trust and love. For someone like Britney whose own mother has neglected her for years, that isn't going to come so easily. I don't expect them to be super realistic with how long it'll take them to form a parental connection but a few months is a bit ridiculous. If they had some event that really drew them together it would make sense the loyalty, trust and love.

I agree, this storyline is so unrealistic . She picks up some random kid off the street, buys her off from her mother , has known her for 2 min and all of a sudden she s her "daughter" ! No sorry she's not ! On top of it Britney convinces her to dump the father of her real daughter. She's the cause of their relationship breaking down in the first place. I never liked Britney , annoying little brat.

Not sure why you showed all these highlights but left out the Britney scenes in the kitchen which were pretty pivotal to the whole thing. I don't blame her saying what she said either, Zack will never really fully accept her like Whitney does & she's bang on that he'll screw up again, I said on this channel he'd screw up again weeks before he even slept with Lauren. Britney is smarter with more foresight than the adults in this show, she's actually saving Whitney from future heartbreak.

I have no doubt that Whitney loves Zack but she can't trust him and without trust what do they really have?Plus Whitney takes her daughters and leaves because maybe she knows if she stayed she and Zack might get back together and she may know she and Zack both need a fresh start apart from each other.Plus since she and Zack share a daughter the door could be left open for Whitney to return down the line even if it's a short-term return.

There never seems to be so much of a mention of Zacs HIV status since he revealed it. I so remember how Mark's was constantly talked about and he kept running into complications, becoming a pariah on the square being denied entry to the US with Lisa, and finally discovered he has only months to live because his Meds no longer work.. Zac has comcieved a child with Whitney, slept with Lauren on the side and has a totally normal life otherwise. If you ask me, it's poor storytelling on the part of the soap script writers.

There’s some characters that deserve a happy ending, and fans left feeling hopeful. This as an exit storyline was weak. I think the thought was she’s finally realised her sense of self without the need for a man and his poor behaviours. Which is a great message if she hadn’t endured all she has. For her to pack up as a single mother of 2 and head back to Milton Keynes or wherever she goes with Bianca, feels like she’s given up, and let’s be honest, that’s not realistic. She should’ve had the happy ending. Exited with Mr and baby. Then came back when it all fell apart. This still feels like “poor Whitney”.

I think you’ll find YOU were the one that killed the family Whitney. I always felt sorry for her through Callum, Tony, Leo, Kush, but the writing of her character in recent months has been appalling. Totally obsessing over some kid she met 2 months ago, prioritising her over her own fiancé and best mate as well as lying to and insulting them both. I’ll be glad to see the back of her, miserable Britney and hypocrite Bianca and honestly, wouldn’t mind a Zack and Lauren relationship.

'A better mother' a child needs a mother and a father and she chose him to be the father... its delusional for her to think she is the best and more important parent . I really wish mainstream storylines would be more responsible and respectful of the human experience...this feminist position is dangerous. When adults have children the child should be the priority and our feelings have to come second. Eastenders... this is so irresponsible. It's encouraging women to be conceited.
