@@FreddyFazbear1985 Poor internal consistency or retcons, yes. As SB invalidates the sacrifice in PS and other lore bites, we're better off ignoring it if we want any measure of internal lore consistency and plot payoff.

@@baitposter what we do get is that the souls will be set free when their unfinished business is done like with Charlotte and Henry being reunited after the Fnaf 6 fire. William on the other hand is actively being kept alive by the vengeful spirit as we find out in „The Man In Room 1280“. Michael is still alive cuz he still didn’t put an end to his father so he is able to be set free. SB did get us the answer that fire doesn’t set the souls free as we thought but rather fulfilling their goals even though it felt like Steel Wool just threw every chunk of lore towards us, ignoring the relevance of making sense like in previous FNAF games. Who is patient 46? Who is Gregory? Is he a robot? Where is Elizabeth? Where is Vanny after the canon ending with Burntrap? What is with Glamrock Bonnie? Why does the Blob have old animatronic parts? All questions that are still not 100% solved and there are still more.

Unfortunately I don’t have the Claws of Hades or other soul removal weapons, so I think a bucket of water or a shotgun would work just fine.

The flame thrower would stop Freddy and every animatronic on FNaF outright, because of the recent emergence of “remnant” in the lore. Remnant needs to be burned to release the spirit it holds, which is why all of the animatronics end up burned in the end. Maybe just a match would bring them down.

@@freakshowfox4748 From my understanding, remnant was either the infused soul with molten metal, or the soul on/in the metal. So that still wouldn't work unless the flamethrower melted the endoskeleton. Also think Springtrap, who survived a fire and still lived.
