You are probably familiar with this studio if you ever watch EQD Sessions or demo videos from EQD Japan. We would like to introduce Tuppence Studio at west side of Tokyo, in this town Nishiogikubo. They have been in the business since 2001 and they are one of EQD studios that has all our pedals for your creation when you work here!
This studio is located in a quiet residential area and it doesn't look like it's a recording studio from outside. But once you enter the place, you will be welcomed with a wonderful chill vibe and atmosphere. Take a look at the spiral staircase on your left for a lot of book collection that the mother, who's a renowned book writer of the studio owner Mr Ikeda collected. It would be nice to read some books when you need to take a break, or get some inspirations for your creations when you work here.
And when you head down to the basement, you will see Mr Ikeda's DIY work (It looks super professional!) in the control room and tracking room with lots of wood and you will never get tired of looking up at the high ceiling of the tracking room.
They have quality gear for you to get your work done right and it would accommodate music gear you might bring in too. How about making a record or doing some preproduction work here with the great vibe and atmosphere? And if you've been to Nishiogikubo, you'd know that you will never have a hard time to pick restaurants and bars to finish off your hard working music day!
