Excellent example and hard to find in original condition. Absolutely a steal under 40k.... and you are correct...... big boys in Michigan would sell at 70-80k
In 1989, the square bodies began to look like the OBSs because of the grilles, headlight bezels, headlights, front blinker lights, emblems, bodyside molding trim, & steering wheel.
@DavisOffRoad1 yep & that was why they changed the C/K series on those square body models to R/V series in 1987 so it would help people avoid confusion between them & the upcoming next generation C/K series pickups which were the OBSs for the 1988 model year.
@@DavisOffRoad1 & the OBSs were the first to have plastic headlights which were introduced in 1990 on models with dual headlights. Those plastic headlights replaced the dual glass ones. OBSs with the base single headlights on the other hand still continued to have glass ones.
I drove 4 hours to buy a 81 bone stock k20 because it never had anything removed from it. It’s hard to find trucks that haven’t been butchered! One day it’ll look like new again.
Currently still available working with a customer for a custom build, but he may actually select a different unit. We are still in conversation currently.
