I'm 55 and got back into over the board chess after a 39 year break. Love my gambits! My issue is I work graveyard shift and play Saturday USCF tournaments at 9am on no sleep lol ! Love watching your videos overnight before my Saturday tournaments ❤️
This is a pretty interesting idea! I'm a gambiteer myself, and I was amused to realise that the starting position of this ...f5 busch-gass may also arise from the latvian gambit by transposition. After the moves 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 f5!? 3.Nxe5 (best move, though not the only line) 3...Nc6!? (the Fraser defense, deviating from the usual 3...Qf6, where Black may regain the pawn at the cost of falling behind in development; hardly what a gambiteer wants) 4.Nxc6 (4.Qh5+ leads to very wild complications, so much so many grandmasters have advocated against entering such line from the White side) 4...dxc6 5.Nc3 Bc5. Thought you may like knowing about this as well!
