One of my favorite songs that already made me emotional, but this is just incredible. As a gay male Pulse hit close to home with me and so did this song, combining the too and making this message is very moving. Excellent job. Phenomenal voices!

In fact, the shooting inspired me to actually come out to crush (who doesn't "like" like me, but I am okay witht that), which is mainly because it was a tragedy, so if something that bad happened, I felt like something good should come out of it, even if it is on a personal level.

At the time of the pulse shooting, I was at home and safe. Luckily. I was in the disney college program, and i happened to go home the week before the shooting. My mom was absolutely scared and wrapped me in a hug, because I could have been there. I went to pulse several times with my fellow cast mates and roommates. It was such a tragic event. Pulse will always be near and dear to my heart. As a gay male, musical theater lover, and advocate. #Youarenotalone #PULSE

Kyle Fanene the composers are named Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and the song is from the musical "Dear Evan Hansen." You can listen to the original song on RU-vid, as well as the other songs from the cast recording. You can probably find the sheet music easily, but if you're in the New York area, the Drama Bookshop has the liberetto for sale.

I have never really felt such an emotional attachment to this song. But hearing these beautiful people sing such an amazing song, it really helps restore the hope I had before that night. Just knowing that so many people in the lgbtq+ community lost so much that day breaks me,but I like to think that things like this and the constant support and donations for charities and the general good will towards others is really helping give back what we lost.

This made me cry. It's actually beautiful. I am genderfluid and Bi and I am still grieving I guess. I wasn't there but we lost our brother and sisters and non-binary friends, and that effected us. They were our family basically. This song always makes me cry but purpose and kind of meaning behind it and why this was made was generally beautiful. Thank you. ❤️❤️

Over two years after the shooting, and here I am, a young lesbian who's still in shock over the events of June 12, 2016. Although I didn't personally lose anybody close in the Pulse shooting, the world lost 49 brilliant individuals who deserve to be remembered. Yes, most of them were LGBT, but they were so much more than that. They were college students and graduates, young people, who had so much to give to the world. If people could just see past the labels "gay", "transgender", "bisexual", etc., then they would find such beautiful people underneath.

This is beautiful. When the attack first happened, I never really knew what had happened, never listening to the news often, and my mind not being mature enough to comprehend the weight of the tragedy. Now, I grieve for the lives lost. This really struck me, being a lesbian. You guys really have talent and I enjoyed this very much. Thank you for making this in memory of Pulse.

It's okay, it's called "TEARS". It's a normal reaction when you see a incredible heartbreaking tribute song. Even His Majesty, the Great Satan had it when he was listening to this. The action is "crying", from the verb "to cry", and contrary to the stupid cares of our brains society greatly reduced by the prejudices and implicit rules of the Good Little Pigeon, it's pretty okay to cry. It's physiologic, you can't help it. So just, let them come and enjoy! =3

I live in the Tampa Bay area and regularly go over to Orlando. I’ll never forget getting up Sunday morning and seeing a text asking if I had gone out in Orlando the night before. I made a joke about being home, when my friend told me to look at the news. Not sure I can ever truly express the shock, horror, and sadness I felt in that moment.

this song never fails to make me cry, and when used in this context, it makes me even more emotional. The Pulse shooting was one of the worst things I have ever heard of, and I could never wrap my head around the fact that that actually happened. Heartbreakingly beautiful. bawling my eyes out here. My friend was almost caught up in the tragedy that night, but lucky for him & his friends they decided to return back to their hotel instead. he was so lucky. I LOVE this so much, I myself am bi and I haven't opened up to everyone just a few people like 4 friends. this is a beautiful tribute, and absolutely true. im an lgbt youth, and i still remember vividly the fear i felt when i heard about what happened- i was much younger and only just coming to terms with who i was. the shooting happened in the early hours of my birthday, and i remember waking up to what i thought would be a good day- but as soon as i walked into the living room, and the news was on, my heart shattered for the families and the lgbt community. i and so many others around the world spent that day glued to the television, and every day after that mourning our fellow lgbt brothers, sisters, and siblings; and sending our best wishes to pulse, to orlando, and to the families and friends who lost someone that tragic day. this was a beautiful tribute to both the fallen and the survivors of pulse. ♥️🏳️‍🌈
