@@CH51234 They didn't add it to the screen. Its a mod that you can download on PC that actually makes this happen in the game. If you use any of the forbidden spells, the mod makes this happen. If you die within that time limit, you get spawned to the prison. The only thing that sucks about this mod, is when it happens and you do get sent to the prison that's a complete game over, because there is no way of escaping or leaving the prison so you have to start a brand new game.
@@CH51234It would be pretty cool if you could do something like that though, casting those forbidden spells on students and facing the consequences for it. If I remember correctly, there is an in game thing that can happen if you learn them. From what I’ve heard, if you use their spells too often in places where there are students, there will be rumors in school of you casting those spells. I don’t know if that’s true or not, since I’ve always been careful just in case, and I only heard about it online.
@@criert135 He killed hundreds to thousands of vagrants, homeless muggles, and wizards himself to make the Inferi that guarded his horcrux. An armys worth. This was just not directly shown in the movies beyond basic info about it. ‘They are corpses,’ said Dumbledore calmly. ‘Dead bodies that have been bewitched to do a Dark wizard’s bidding. Inferi have not been seen for a long time, however, not since Voldemort was last powerful ... he killed enough people to make an army of them, of course. This is the place, Harry, just here ...’ Effects Supervisor Tim Alexander merely says, "The underwater world was difficult because of [the sheer number of Inferi] and the interactive light from the fire."
@@dafaeriequeeneYou're mixing up a joke with glorification. Some people need to learn the difference. Jokes are a part of humour. Humour typically seeks to alleviate everyday stresses. A common form of humour involves making light of very serious and difficult topics that people often hear about in their lives. This seeks to relieve the tension momentarily and to laugh it off, because sometimes if we don't laugh, we'll cry. In other words: it's not that deep
The guy: Using Avada Kedavra on random students and all the teachers are pursuing him. All other students: "We missed the part where that's our problem."
It seems like only those NPCs who were aurors and Officer Singer chase you. Solomon and Sharpe were aurors and Singer is some sort of a police there. Only didn't notice Hecat
@Joe Roberts guns don't protect from those with mental illness who can get guns easily. It'll only help to stop them after killing with their own. I'm pro gun, but I'm also pro "common sense".
The Killing Curse in this game seems much more humane than the other ways you can kill enemies in the game: - burning them to death with "Incendio" - using "Bombarda" - using "Ancient Magic" (summoning a lightning strike, which lets enemies explode into thousand pieces or smashing your enemies against the ground multiple times) If you have to kill an enemy at least make it a quick and painless death. All the other methods look like torture to me :P
I get why there’s no morality system as a student, but as the series expands into adult characters, I hope they add stuff like that. Make the main location the Ministry of Magic instead of Hogwarts, and have hogwarts/hogsmead, diagonalley, Azkaban as other locations
Yo that would be sick imagine its like you can create instances as different people like you can start an instance as a student then another one as an auror or a dark wizard
@@Portablepizzaoven not really, have you seen Star Wars the old republic, Skyrim, elder scrolls, destiny 2, elden ring. Lol dude you know nothing about rpg or mmorpg
Except Voldemort would wipe the floor with the faculty of Hogwarts. Assuming Dumbledore isn't there of course. I guess his hardest fight would be professor mcgonnagall
@@12801270able The problem is that you can easily spam spells and there isn't any stamina bar, not to mention that over using magic should lead to fatigue .
You summed it up pretty well👍 hehehe. it would be a big improvement if they don't do that then history will be repeated like from that game "shadow of mordor =shadow of war".
I would have loved to see a "Dark Lord" path develop from here. Either you break out by yourself or someone hears about your exploits and helps you break out. Then you start to amass followers while you move up the ranks in the dark wizarding world.
Tbh, having ancient magic could be how you escape. Your literally capable of vaporization of trolls and other magical beings. Surely a prison bar or wall isn't that big of an issue.
I’m dying at the first interaction (and so he is, literally) lmao The timing is so good. He asks for help, the mc looks back, and from complete silence Avada Kedavras him 😂
I think a morality system would work so well honestly. The soul is such a core component of Harry Potter lore that the idea of the soul decaying as you do more evil acts makes so much sense. Having new paths that open for you when you hit a certain level of morality. Spells that become available as well. (I.e. avada kedavra for one, maybe patronus charms etc on the other. In lore, Voldemore cant cast a patronus bc he doesnt have any happy memories)
In megaman legends the character literally gets to a dark shade of blue/gray (startpoint being a bright normal blue) when you're constantly being rude and kicking animals. It also affects some dialogue. This idea compliments well with the state of the soul. Goddamnit. Why can't we have epic games that aren't trying to be cookie cutter safe.
@hopefulstarfish7559 In Undertale, if you become murderous enough, the PC will start automatically killing people without giving the player a choice. That is a PERFECT way to implement a morality system. Some options are grayed out, and the PC takes some choices automatically if you become too evil _or_ good. It's even better if the PC automatically does something horrible to a really likeable character.
I wish there would've been an actual dark wizard path, with its own skill tree that replaces almost most of your other combat spells, and that you'd have major changes in the story based on that. Wasted potential there I guess
Imagine being a witness which is trying to understand what the hell has happened. Like, why would a student start shooting fatal curses on everybody around him with no apparent provocation.
They should do a DLC where you have to go to azkaban for a mission invoving more ancient magic and there's a breakout and the dementors go crazy and you have to learn the patronous charm and depending on if you turned sebastian in or not he could help you out as an inmate
Sebastian could help you out of mutual interest but then at the end of the DLC betray you and try to kill you for turning him in leading to a final boss fight with him
Or if you Sold him when used the Killing Curse out you have to Confront your Ol' Pal & Battle him on Azkaban Ground's, sorta like what happened in Star wars Episode III when Obi-wan went to Mustafar to Stop Anakin,(Different Franchise but plotline Similar), Depending on your Decsion.
Player: Becomes Slytherin to become the next dark lord Professor Garlick: *A Hufflepuff Player: Damn it why did i become a Slytherin... no i can still do this Professor Garlick: *Likes Girls Player: Why did i choose to be a guy Ahhhhh!!!!!!....there must be a spell or potion to become a girl
Adding a GTA rating-style element would be massive. They could give players who've racked up stars the opportunity to continue playthrough without the storyline no longer making sense by activating a time turner when they've managed to escape "cops" ie. teachers attacking them to go back in time and reverse what they did.
They could add many elements of bully into this game too, I wanted to feel more like I was in actual school, like pranks between students, more individuality between houses, etc
That's what YOU wanted the game to be. The marketing of the game literally tells you what YOU should expect. Lol your disappointed by your own delusions🤣🤣
I like how the professors and other essential NPCs survive the spell that's supposed to instantly kill most people... Harry Potter wasn't lucky to survive, he was just an essential NPC
Everyones talking about they want to be Voldemort but truth is they will never be Voldemort if you can't kill any good npc it shouldvw been like this 😢
Meh. I am tired of dumb childish and cartoonish antagonists. I want to see smart and terrifying villain. So no, being Volandemort do not have anything to do with random kills.
@@heyhoe168 he does he literally killed innocent people many times. dark witches and wizards arent casting dark magic on their enemies ONLY. they use it on innocent people for fun and because they can🙄 self defense isn't evil either
@@citizensnips3850 literally every single piece of modern art. Even if they trying to make smart one, it turned out to be just as smart as authors, which is comically dumb.
I'm seeing a lot of jokes about American schools here, but I yet have to see an American kid rounding up his classmates in the gym and start air juggling and styling over the school bully with a glock.
I really hope in the sequel theres more choices for being a dark wizard like with a moral system. I like being in Slytherin but in this theres no consequences for being evil. I want to feel like im an actual villain. Woild be so cool if the next main villian you can choose to join them or be good
If Hogwarts had more guards with wands, tragedies like this wouldn't happen. It appears the assailant was using a bump handle on his wand, an illegal accessory. Thoughts and prayers to the students and their families.
I love how you can use unforgivable curses in this game. I may have used Crucio a lot, and the killing curse comes in handy with trolls. Trolls are not really a threat in the late game when by themselves, but when they are part of the group the killing curse makes life a lot easier. Well easier for me, not the trolls.
If there are multiple trolls, I'll just put curses on them and then Avada Kedavra since Avada Kedavra kills all cursed enemies if you have the talent upgrade.
