Can we talk about how absolutely ridiculous the magic world's justice system is? Remember when they sent Hagrid to Azkaban based solely on suspicion? They sent him to a place where your soul is slowly sucked out of you without proof of any crimes?

This why I thought it was crazy there wasn't a less awful prison for those who commit less awful crimes. Like petty crimes, stealing, robbing, destruction of property. Throwing those people in Azkaban is just widdling away the magic populace. When they could just be sent to another prison without dementors. Yeah throw the death eaters there and other clearly sadistic and evil wizards and witches. The world isn't going to miss them. But some people don't deserve to be put in that awful of an environment.

Sirius lost one best friend, due to the betrayal of another, at a time when he felt he couldn't trust the third (the guilt of which must have haunted him ever since he figured out it was Peter who had betrayed them and not Lupin). He had already been estranged from his relatives, and his surrogate family, the Order, were turned against him. Sirius experienced loss like no one else.

The Dementors are the most intriguing entities for me from the HP universe. I always wondered, if their numbers grew and they decided that they wanted to cause despair and misery to all....would the wizarding world be able to handle them? I mean they are supposedly indestructible with the Patronus charm being the main known spell to drive them away. Yet the Patronus was stated to be a very advanced form of magic that the great majority of wizards or witches cannot use or at least cannot use to its fullest. It would be a hard fought war, I know ultimately the wizards will win but that is probably only due to the Dementors not being as intelligent as them. if the Dementors were truly cunning I don't see the wizards/witches coming out on top.

Peter Conlon Commentary that's clipping the whole time (low audio quality) while being played over repeating stock footage and images made it to your "top 3", eh? I enjoy the content, but production quality leaves much to be desired. I'm not sure how anyone could argue with that.

Med Otaku i personally havnt noticed any clipping in the commentary and i think the audio quality is fine for a standard independant production. I enjoy content that is genuinely entertaining and captivating, regardless of their quality, and you wont find content you enjoy if your only preference is based on the money they invest in equipment (and generally most channels who do have great equipment generally have mediocre content, as a lot of them only rely on quality over content, in my opinion) i have plenty of channels that i seriously enjoy, but my top 5 or 3 are generally the ones i look forward to the most in terms of uploads, i could have more but most channels are dying out because of youtubes new policies and algorithms. As i said though, high quality doesnt automatically equal good content, but hey, my preferences arent yours. So you enjoy what you like, and ill enjoy mine, have a nice day!

How did Kingsley "purged" the prison? I thought you couldn't kill a dementor, perhaps there's some way of "sealing" them...Anyway, good video. Keep up the great work.

I would think that they would seal them somewhere deep underground like they did in the Ministry of Magic. When something bad would happen in a court room, a portal would open and behind the portal would be a lot of dememtors. I think they would do that just with a bigger area for them.

There must be a way to remove Dementors from Azkaban, as Dumbledore warned Fudge to remove them, a warning Fudge didn't heed. Fudge and Umbridge could also move Dementors around.

theory: askaban was created by a muggle who new about the wizarding world who hated witches and wizards and there plan was to try to capture them so they could destroy the wizarding world. a wizard or witch new about it and pretended to be a muggle ao they could stop the crime. eventually the real muggle died and the wizard set free the innocent witches and wizards who were still alive, the wizard made azkaban a real prizon and added dementors. after the wizard died a group of evil witches were the new owners and kept the furnishing the same but they just dumped framed people into the prizon and thats how sirius got into azkaban bc peter framed him 13 years later and hes here, soon after that hes dead. thats my theory on how azkaban became, azkaban. - victoria
