Thanks for watching family! Please remember this was considered luxury beachfront apartments. We will soon show you regular apartments or homes that are more affordable.
@Marthathevineyard Exactly 💯. I was listening to him change the price. Smh, sometimes you just need them to talk and not ask a question and answer at the sSametime. He saw 💰 coming.
Thank you very much for these great relevant content. For those of us relocating to Kenya in a few months or in few years, this is extremely helpfull so we can prepare accordingly with the available options. I have been eyeing Diani non- tourist area to come settle down but Mombasa area seems to be growing on me because of your family oriented channel. Keep up the great work you are doing to keep us informed.
The moment the property viewer interest starts saying wow, OMG, takes my breath away, this is nice, I love this and that, the property agents knows it's time to racket the price.
My sentiments exactly. I've seen that in my time here on the continent. Going through these places oooing and awwwing like people do plants the the seed in the landlords mind to raise the already high rents.
I stayed in Nairobi for a month, to secure my accommodation, I wrote a letter of enquiry in English and had it translated into Kiswahili. Sent the translated version to the estate agent to get their prices. Unbeknownst to them with all the exchanged correspondence, they felt I was Kenyan. I even sent a Kenyan RU-vidr, for a fee, to do the viewings for me and sent me the videos. It was laborious but got me a not racket price.
@@Shampah.The.Emo.Rapper I didn't just send the letter. I used its content in my SMS, WhatsApp messages with the property agents. Even used a local Kenyan phone number.
@@Shampah.The.Emo.Rapper whilst I was in Nairobi, I needed to get fresh groceries from the open public market. I dressed like I was a local as I accompany the Kenyan RU-vidr. He did all the talking, I played deaf and we bulk buy what we needed and shared. The tactic got me local prices.
The Kenyan Coast is an excellent retirement and holiday destination. African has 18,950 miles (30,500 km) of coastline. You guys have become travel guides for us Kenyans. You can get an unfurnished beachfront apartment for $500 a month so long as you're staying for at least a year.
That video with your mom in the pool was such an inspiration for me. Videos like this will make your relocation business boom; you are so relaxed, like you’ve been doing it for years! English Point looks like my new home (I need the elevator!). I will definitely use your services when I make the move! Thank you so much for taking the time to show us what is available to us in Mombasa 🙏🏾👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Yes, I think the price is too high as well. The fact that they are telling them the price is USD, is indicative that they are giving them a non-African price.
2300.00 dollars is not cheap. I live in Panamá city Panamá. Nice gym, nice pool, close to the beach fully furnished, and the rent is only $700.00 a month. The only difference is it's a 2 bedroom. I only stay 6 months out of the year. The other 6 in Botswana. I go visit my kids and siblings in Atlanta so being so close in Panamá is an easy trip. $2300.00 and $2500.00 rents would stop those visits 😊.

Hello family.😊 Thank you so much for showing us these beautiful apartment. We're looking forward to seeing the more affordable apartment for those of us who are on smaller budgets. You both are awesome! Thank you.😊
You have been treated like animals in your own country for hundred of years, and look at you today you own nothing, the Europeans, Chinese, Indians control your economy, you are beggars in your own country
How is it living in DC beyond the cost of living? Is it a nice place? I was aiming to relocate there for some work. Are you tired of it so moving to Kenya, do you mind telling me your reason behind wanting to move?
African American build this country and they shouldn’t leave letting other people enjoy what they built! But they should be able to travel and enjoy their mother countries because African belongs to the black people that are in everwhere in the world
@@Szahra87 l agree with you and l'm not AA. They should continue to fight for their rights in the USA. They can come to Africa as tourist or investor or marriage.
The 3rd place was the best of all price point a bet to much but all are beautiful.Thank you both for taking out time to show us how beautiful Kenya,Mombasa is.💐💐💐
Please go to buxton point near Nyali bridge. You will be blown by the luxurious affordable houses going for less than 2000. It's in development but phase 1 sold out. Also you can go to Vipingo to the north outskirts of mombasa and see some marvels going on there
International school in mombasa will be coast academy , braeburn school, lights academy ,nyali academy it's been long I was in mombasa you can check on this last school I mentioned mostly nyali academy next to the former president house and close to the beach. If you need more info just ask I will try and answer you.
Furnished apartments in Kenya cost double or more what a similar unfurnished one would. Furnished apartments are normally used to cater for tourists or short term stay. So, if you plan to be a long term resident, the best option would be an unfurnished one. Are you Instagram? I can send you links of Kenya real estate Instagram pages. Luxury apartments, prices in Kenya shillings and well under $1000
No wonder it's still empty at the moment that's prize is not friendly at all even me who is from the coast I can say that not the prize even close to that as a former real estate agent. 1200 dollars for that front house i still have libk i can confirm with my boiz on ground if thats the actual rent.
If I was going to pay that amount, there needs to be convenient stores, grocery stores, great schools, street lights, and ( paved roads, In the whole city) 😂 all nearby, also if you do not have a job that brings in good revenue, how do you survive ?
You need to be independently wealth or have a business that will generate good income or retired with a good pension. Personally, I would buy land, build a nice house in a nice beach location and live like the natives.
But that is for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, ocean view. How much would that be in Miami, Ocean City etc.? True many of these more developed African countries are having a two-tier pricing system; one for locals-who can't afford to live in these places and one for the Diaspora. Check multiple places.
@@pearbear319 BUT IT AINT MIAMI. THATS THE WHOLE POINT. I DON’T LIVE IN MIAMI. I LIVE IN MARYLAND AND THATS HOW MUCH APARTMENTS GO FOR HERE. ONE OF THEM WAS ALMOST $3000 A MONTH. SHOW US SOME APARTMENTS WE CAN AFFORD JUST COMING IN. WHY WOULD I WANT TO PAY THE SAME PRICES THEY CHARGE IN STATES I CANNOT AFFORD ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️
Wow...this is perfect for a single or a couple!!! I love it...what about unfurnished apartments...does that bring down the price...just asking...you guys are really doing the darn thing...I must say that you have come a long way...your'e my most watch...Thank you
I know that a lot of thes places like English point are still I owned by Brits and Indians. Are there no nice places owned by Black Kenyans. I don't want to move to Africa to pay rent to Indians and Brits!!! The apartment is only going to be temporary. I want to build or buy a house in a nice area with the view. Can we some of those houses please, please find some forvus.❤❤❤❤
I hear you...I rather buy land and build my house...renting is never the way to go...the first apartment the guy said two months rent and 1 month's deposit...hell that's 6,900 dollars...I can buy land with that!!!@@ruqayyahcurtis7504
Greetings Residential Tourists what I see is # 2 From the outside in, is light and airy beautiful view and activities close by, but it will be a lot of activity and probably noise at times. #3 As you said “feels like home” and has everything to serve the family, schools etc. and key “you can feel the energy”. Best wishes looking forward to see your choice❤
Nice locations and very spacious. While still exploring Mombasa/Coastal properties, check out Sultan Palace and Vipingo Ridge. Both are beach front gated communities
Your channel views blow out since you started saying you are moving to Kenya. Now you have moved, your views are on fire. Kenya is one of the best city to build a RU-vid channel. I am happy for you.❤ I had a great time in your airbnb in Rwanda 😅 Hopefully, you do the same business in Kenya
$2300 a month way too much!! If you are American, once you open your mouth the price of everything goes up. Your American accent increases the prices. Best to have an trustworthy indigenous native do the negotiating for you. Or sharpen your haggling skills.
Too expensive. When you say it in Kenya shillings, then you know its too expensive. Where do you want the Kenyans to go rent with those kinds of prices. Mombasa slow down, you are still in Africa not Europe.
I don't understand why people are complaining about the price, these are luxury apartments not regular homes it is very suprising that people in the USA expect the prices to be much lower here when the quality is almost the same
I agree that’s a fair price. The agent is not worried about renting it out 😊when the tourist (read white people) come looking the place will be fully let😂
Started watching after seeing the subject. You have the three of you in frame, but You did not introduce the brother. I'm a sistah from the states, i would like his info please. Thank you for showing the beauty of Rwanda and Kenya,
It' is a lovely apartment but over priced. My mortgage in Iowa is less than that 😂. I want to support African owned businesses when possible. I do enjoy your videos showing various rentals. Very informative.
@@Thegalacticgeneral Its too busy for me and when i travel and go to other Kenyan cities i tend to like them more.I think Nairobi is overrated its only good cause of the night life which i am not into and businesses Plus i have been raised here so i am so bored of Nairobi. Mombasa is my favourite city because its calm food there is amazing and the ocean i love the water.
That’s not affordable at $2300 monthly! That’s New York rent and how is it the US system is being used in Eastern Africa? What Kenyans can afford it at this relatively high price?
No wonder it's still empty at the moment that's prize is not friendly at all even me who is from the coast I can say that not the prize even as a former real estate agent.
It is happening in Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda etc. Guess who owns the places? Not the citizens of these countries. It is sad; they are trying to exploit the Africa awakening of the Western Diaspora. Shame!
