It's been a crazy year here with the cold the hot the rain th floods it been a night mare locating crappie and I was still able to find a few hanging around at the rocks. Some had eggs still and I thought was crazy. Here we are may and the fish are still hanging around the rocks. I'm not complaining though!😅😂 I will take any fish about time of the year. @@Fishing_with_Domingo oh trust me I was into bass fishing for a long time & decided to try for crappie & now that I can catch some I go out almost everyday hahaha I haven’t got skunked yet so that’s good so far, that’s the thing about here in KC most places there is no size limit so a lot of people don’t care & they don’t let them grow at all. 2 days ago I caught 8 good ones but I also caught like 20 little ones lol I just kept the 8 those little ones make the day go fast haha
That's awesome! I love chasing crappie around! They can be a challenge at times but so much fun! I will start going out in the kayak fishing for them soon. It's about that time when they leave the creeks and move out to the lakes. Bridges and timber is where they will go. Heck yea thats awesome you be catching them crappie. I do get thousands of people asking to do this and do that and don't put certain things in my videos and they tell me we just want to see some fishing. So most of videos I just get right into the point and show the fishing. I will do my best to throwing in my set up in the near future. Thanks for letting me know. Bit my set up was a plain slip bobber fishing 7 to 8 feet deep with hair jigs and plastic jigs. Nothing fancy. Using a 7ft rod with 12lbs yellow braid with 2000 spinning reel Viper x

I have used jigs for a long time, and it just became easier for me in time. Now it's just like tying my shoes. I love to use jigs, but there is a time in the summer when the crappie just want live bait. Then I will change to minnows then. Thanks a lot for coming by and watching! The second half of the video was sunset I see. Was the first half in the early morning? I read you set your bobber to 7-8 feet but how deep was that water you think?
This spot has a pocket that feeds through the tunnel that is under water. It feeds to the other side but there is whole on the lake side that I was fishing. This whole is 13 feet deep. Sometimes I have to fish 10 to 12 feet. Normally I have to throw a few cast just to figure out where they are staging at. 7 to 8 ft was the hot spot that day. Thanks for tuning in and watching. Your right about that he did get closer. He seen me catching crappie and was gettingcloser by the second. 😂😅 I had a slip bobber on so he couldn't see gow deep I was fishing. He didn't catch anything because if your not 7 to 8 ft deep you wouldn't catch them. He was fishing to shallow. Thanks Doug for the stop! Have a great rest of your week!
