We knew we wanted a strong Rigid Inflatable Boat to cut down on weight and also the soft ride of the tubes, we wanted to upgrade our current dinghy Deborah that we've had since 2019 when we built her in New Zealand.
This new tender is actually the realization of the dream we had back then but it has now far ecceded what we thought possible.
Highfield Boats:
We chose a Highfield because they are the leaders in RIB's with their aluminum hull and strong tubes we were certain that this work horse would be great for years to come.
We decided to go with a Patrol 460 because we loved the center console.
We modified it a bit by pushing the consol forward to allow space for the dive rack, and then reinforced the bow so that we could use the RIB to push sylfia around acting as a bow thruster.
So far we are LOVING this Highfield 460, she's strong, she literally glides on top of the water.
Garmin:
When you are looking for a chart plotter that relies on GPS why look any further than the leaders in the GPS market.
We chose a Garmin GPSMap 953XSV with a transducer so we could scout the ocean floor in 3D looking for ship wrecks and cool topography.

Lumitec Lighting:
These guys have made a name for themselves as the leader in Marine Lighting, and for good reason, their products are top quality.
We installed
Six Seablaze X2's in the hull, we did this so that on a night dive we could always located the vessel, but also it attracts plankton which in turn attract many marine species such as mantas and squids.
Maxilum H60 to light up the path ahead of the dinghy to make sure we didn't bump into something at night and to also light up the tender to get geared up for a night dive.
Two Caprera3 Full Spectrum Flood Lights for the party vibes.

Fusion Marine Audio
We knew we wanted the party vibes when out for a wakeboard sesh, or to bring the stoke level up for a dive so fusion marine speakers were a no brainer.
We installed
Fusion XS Marine Speakers on the sides of the consol.
Fusion XS Waketower Speakers on the tower.
Fusion Apollo Marine Stereo complete with a Apollo Amplifier so we could upload music and also bluetooth straight from our phones.
For extra bonus our Garmin Dive Watches also control the music!

Battleborn Batteries:
With this much power running through the tender we knew we needed a battery we could rely on.
So we went with a brand we have tested and trust, we installed a 100 Amp Hour 12v LiFePO4 Deep Cycle Lithium Battleborn Battery to make sure that we are fully juiced at all times.

Mantus Marine Anchors:
That is a lot of boat on the line, literally! your boat is only ever as safe as its anchor tackle system.
So we installed
Mantus Model -M1 and a Mantus Anchor Swivel to ensure that the anchor dug in everytime. These are known to be the very best digging anchors on the market.
Elcho Engineering:
Matt & Aitor our long time crew and friends are incredible engineers and helped take this idea from sketches on a napkin and whispers over a beer to an actual 3D image CAD file which helped us perfect the design prior to production.
These guys can do a lot more than just design a dinghy, so if you need their services hit them up.

RibWorx:
Steve over at RibWorx fremantle helped facilitate bringing in our Highfield and spend countless hours with us teaching us exactly how to modify our new baby.
If you are in Western Australia and are looking for a RIB look no further as he can customize exactly what you are looking for.

Yamaha:
We decided reliability was a must when looking for an outboard so we went with quality we can count on and went with a Yamaha 90HP 4 Stroke, this outboard purrs
Icom:
We installed a Icom VHF system so we could always be in contact with the mother ship and also hail other vessels if need be, safety always.
