Indie Game suggestion : SANABI. It’s a a pixel art 2D platformer with a grapple hook mechanic made by 5 Korean college students, and it’s amazing. The grapple hook mechanic and smooth and rewarding to master. The pixel art and animation is so expressive and breathtaking. The soundtrack absolutely BOPS. The dialogue and story is a bit lengthy but there’s Elon Musk slander so that’s cool. It’s such a hidden gem and I love it to bits, so I really recommend it ✨

Its expensive and really hard even me who finished cuphead and dlcs and 2dark souls the games later stages are so frustrating and after playing 200hours like i did whitout finishing it you kinda lose passion for it

@@tankenjoyer1891 I wrote all of this at like 6 AM before I went to bed so maybe this won't make sense, however; Don't buy games at full prices. If anything only buy it if you've already tried it out and have been pulled in. I know Rain World is infuriatingly hard towards the end but the game's definitive art direction and non-linear story telling are well worth the rage in my opinion. The only game that has rivaled its presentation (in my game library) is the souls series. It definitely is a flawed game but it also serves a niche that no other game serves that keeps pulling me in after 300 hours. The game also has an extremely talented modding community that has produced amazing mods that can tailor the game to a casual experience or even define the game's formula.

Doing genre based indie game round ups is a really good idea. I love content like this. Its prevalent in a lot of smaller channels that review indie games but theyre usually only 1 genre (maybe 2) per channel

another game that deserves to be checked out is a game called "I Am Your Beast", its a first person "stealth" game where instead of no bodies to find to no one to find the the bodies, game isn't fully out yet but the demo is free on steam and it releases some time in august of this year
