Beautiful drill and great video! Important to emphasize that you can NOT do this if you have a very strong grip as you will duck hook everything lol. Must have a neutral grip.

Oh boy, there is more of them. Something about golf RU-vid viewers, I guess probably age, that they can't wrap their heads around how an ads based platform and thumbnails work. You all can avoid the great trauma that thumbnails seem to cause you by paying for golf instruction. Thanks for the free tip Eric!

Eric why is it most instructors see this type of release as a negative and consistently say to focus on shaft lean and passive arms?

Well I think a lot of people see that as "optimal" on paper.....and it's a great way to do it.....but as we have seen time and time again there is MORE than one way to do it......and different people have different ability levels, time to practice, issues to fix...etc So nothing is one size fits all IMO...this is just A way to do it

If I rotate my club face that much in the follow through I’m sending that ball way left

Yeah, but I find timing this type of release complicates the swing. I rather a body release over this much forearm rotation. Plenty of vids of this vs the body release.

Every week its the same title, i get that its hard to make new content every week, but maybe do a video where you are demonstrating these things on a course.

Dude, you have to come up with better titles than " golf big secret" or "trick".... there are no secrets/or tricks. There are only movement patterns. No one would share secrets. And stop teaching absolute positions because that doesn't matter. Every pro golfer has their unique swing, with different positions. If there is one position, it is at impact. Stick to that. Everything else is all click bait BS. You will lose viewers and subs bc of that. Keep your titles real, like your instruction Edit: I was only trying to be honest with simple constructive criticism. Not meant to be harsh. The videos are good

I hear (and share) your frustration....the reality is with how RU-vid works now in 2024 is a lot different than when we first started in 2017.... We spend a lot of time, energy and money to make these videos for you guys for free. What a shame it would be to do all that and have no one watch. So we decided we are willing to play the game with RU-vid in order to get enough people to watch. I wish we could be more literal but it just produces less views....which means we are able to help less people. That doesn't make as much sense to me. Hope that explains our perspective and why we do it.....have a great rest of the weekend!

You're really criticizing the headline of the video? Did you actually watch it or just stop at the word "trick?". These videos teach complete movement patterns that most +10 HC golfers should grove into neural pathways. If you don't need it you shouldn't be watching. These aren't BS "click bait" one-trick fixes. On the other hand, your theory that the only position that matters is at impact?! Pure genius, you should start a youtube channel.

@mijnesretep I have watched plenty of videos, and the quality is good for the most part, but I hate the click bait BS titles. I am entitled to my opinion, and am entitled to share it, just as you are. And yes, impact is the only important piece, bc everyone has different movement patterns. I am a doctor of physical therapy, don't tell me about movement patterns and neural pathways, genius. Go F yourself

The titles are ridiculous. Why not just say what it is instead of making it seem like it's national security. This changed my life type titles. Having children change your life. This is golf. Nobody watching these are going to become pro. They just wanna have fun playing That's all.

Start a RU-vid channel and see how well your videos do with your preferred titles. The cost of "free" RU-vid is the spammy click bait titles creators have to use to be able to succeed in the ads based ecosystem. You don't like it, you can go directly to a teacher and pay them for their services to help support them.

@HA-eb8ux how does a click bait title affect the algorithm? Tags don't matter? I'm not saying his content isn't good, just some titles. I feel that way for any content creator. And I made those videos on a whim. I am surprised I got that many views, to be honest. The thumbnail is what it is.
