rajinikant is very famous in japan they even have fan clubs and all. and some speak tamil too which they learn from his movies. i too was shocked to see when i learned about it few years ago.

Superstar Rajinikanth's Tamil movie Muthu from 1995 released as The Dancing Maharaja in Japan. The movie became a huge Blockbuster there! Since then Thalaivar is a big star there with fan clubs and some of his fans even learned to speak Tamil. Muthu and Robot had a huge run there which is equal to straight Japanese movies! Rajini sir makes all Tamil/Indian people around the globe proud. Thanks Thalaivaa!

south indian culture(indus valley) is what spread towards east,do u know japanese have gods like saraswathi,brahma as gods and the temples in singapore and cambodia.in contrast southern indian people are the ones who get in to CEO's engineers ,administration,supreme courts(US) and even spelling bee's in america.the highest number of engineers from india goes from Hyderabad itself and south indian individual language movie collection is on par with hindi in USA. we lessen ourselves entire religions in Asia originated from india only

Not all Japanese are fans of anime, same logic applies for Japanese who happen to ve Rajni fans. Their population is huge, so obviously a certain section of Japanese ious be Rajni fans just like a certain section of Japanese are fans of Jamaican dancehall music or American hip hop music.
