Loved them all. No matter how much experience one has in Excel, there is always so much to learn since we only learn enough to get our job done and miss out on other possibilities within excel, especially pivot tables. You are a great teacher.
I love tip 3 - the timeline functions and I would love to explore more similar illustrations! Thanks Leila, always love your video - adds value and work productivity.
Hi Leila, my favorite is No 8: Custom Sorting Pivot Table Fields. 😉 Pivot table are so quick that i need to build up my confidence in trusting it ...that is... is it going what I want it to do... is it including all my data. etc.
All great tips. My favorite was the "type to sort". I'm always trying to drag items, and find it very cumbersome because it doesn't always move well. This is a much more exact method!
Thank you Leila! I was revising my Pivot table skills recently and this video is just-in-time! I liked the Pivot table without using Pivot table tip! It's really cool! 😎
I love that layout "Field list" that is more in a column rather than in a square. What I also like is the b utton "Defer Layout Update" so you dont mess your data next to your pivot table!!! Gr8 video thank you!!!
you are a great teacher in Microsoft excel. I have learn a lot from your videos. Now i have my own channel and i am trying to publish the videos in regular basis in my own language.
Like many already have said, you’re a great teacher! 🌟 I liked all your tips 😊 but this “compare to previous month”, is there any trick to also compare January with December?
As someone that lives in Excel at work, I already knew most of these. That said, thank you for the last tip! The number of times I have had that explore data thing create another sheet is too much for me to want to admit haha 😂 It may just have driven me into the madhouse at one point.
I can't be partial to other tips if m going to choose one of them but seriously THE VIDEO WAS HIGHLY USEFUL like waaaaay too much.. Thnq so so sooo much really🎉🎉🎉🎉
thank you @LeilaGharani on tip# 9 how to present the sales as a percentage out of the direct parent sub-total and also as a percentage of the grand total and one more question: lets say i have drivers and count of dispatched orders column and count of delivered orders column in the pivot table how to present the delivered count as a count AND one more time as a percentage
I like the slicer the most:) it has given me some idea of how to improve my current reporting template:), the change in previous month/year is also liked.
Thanks SO MUCH. I love #10. I often had to copy/paste the pivot table info into a new table so that users don't click on to get extra worksheet that would confuse them.. This tip is GREAT!!! I mean, all 10 tips are great! Thanks so much :)
