I’m in the middle of building a 91 mustang hatch right now I put 35 spline axles ford Motorsport gears and a crush sleeve eliminator with 20” lbs of drag on the pinion

Keep it stock maybe a motor refresh a cam a good set afr heads or twisted wedge heads, good exhaust. It's great to drive with a nice sounding engine.

@@wickdgt It's a CFI car, not sure I want to convert it, i did a 8.8 swap, the old 7.5 was going bad, and did sub frame connectors, more of a safety thing, T-tops fold in half really easy

@wickdgt if you're gonna mod it mod it. It's either stock or its not. I mean little modded isn't much different than highly modded it would make a super cool restomod I know they didn't make many but this is more reason why it should be a driver it needs to be out there and be seen. Don't wanna make it stay stock and stay couped up. If you wanna keep it traditional put a 408 stroker in it with a carb after all it is an 85. If you want restomod do a terminator swap those are killer for fox bodies imo. Coyote swap is cool too but it's done more often not as unique.

Yeah my notch is doing the same thing touch the steering wheel a certain way it will either shut the car down or the radio took the plastic off the column to see a broken switch for the ignition. Literally just took the car out made a test hit and blew 3rd gear out of the ole gal

What did he say about the cluster? I bought a 88 notchback with no cluster just autometer gauges so I bought a cluster and put the wires back in the plugs per the schematics. I have lights, turn signals, high beam and speedo. No volts, temp, oil or fuel. I know the tach won't work with a msd unless I get a tach adapter. I tested the gauges with a 9 volt battery and they all moved. I'm lost🤷🏼‍♂️ maybe the wires are cut somewhere else. So frustrating 😡😆

There is a resistor on the back that has to be replaced so the alternator will charge. His sons was bad so he took this one off to use on another cluster.
