@@crisdeugzman3711 I’m not certain that “Adventist” and SDA are synonymous. If you know anything about 1800s America and the religious ferment at the time, there’s a lot of lap over. Until I hear him saying he’s SDA I will withhold conclusion. Even if he were, I’m not so sure that disqualifies him from anything. Christians are far too sectarian. That’s been our major problem for nearly 2000 years, “I am of Apollos”…that kind of thinking has got to go.
@@crisdeugzman3711I think people misunderstand the God changes our hearts part of the gospel. We go to far, let’s make rigid rules but also far let’s not follow any rules. The answer is faith produces works and those works are natural if you are truly faithful. As a result a person who is saved will continue to follow the law. “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:1-4 KJV
I know this guy and others, we've been to the property, and have witnessed the fraud firsthand. That's why the LORD took the three children away from Stephanie, she is a twisted woman, always following Titus like a harlot. Why is this married woman, who pretends to be Amish, engaging in such evil behavior with a man who pretends to the world that he is Amish. What lies! He is Seventh Day Adventist acting and scamming the public. I an many other believers saw the great evil there, and now that the children are gone, these two conartists cannot prey on families with children, to come to the Amishland Magic Show, so these two, and Titus' mother and father can skin them. Doubt what I am stating, there are many witnesses. Jeff is a decent fellow, trying to protect his house, this gal left with his kids, took them to the Amishland Magic Show, of deceit, and Jeff has stood to her, all of them. YaHWeH has Spoken, the children that were being used to lure other children, their mothers and fathers, is shut down. I'm glad, Titus is a hypocrite, he is no Amish, nor her. These Two were operating a scam, using the illusion of Titus' wanting to build a church there on his property, to con the public. Wake up, this operation was like Dollywood, only Titus and Stephanie are preying on the public, using the children as a lure. Evil!
What a bold and honest stand. I'm so impressed with his courage and bravery. I could see that was difficult and emotional for him. I know God honored him for standing up against a very vain and prideful spirit. Thank you Jesus and God Bless Titus.
I'm sorry, but Titus is hustling the public, conning people out of cash donations, got some to pay off the property, under the guise that Titus was going to build this church there on the property his mother and father cosigned for. They created this scam, and now the LORD has taken the three children, their tools to deceive and con, the pawns, the children have been removed. Seriously, if anyone wants to know the story about Amishland Magic Show contact me, I and others who know Titus, his family,Stephanie, know they are lying. What an act, they are not Amish, he is a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church, she another denomination. They created this Amishland Magic Show to con the public. I was there, other, too..
That’s what happens when you get to live on your own terms, no boss, no cubicle, no commute, no stress. Titus puts his faith in Jesus and that’s it. It clearly brings him peace. If I can aspire to be half the man he is, that would be success in my eyes.
Well said my brother, imagine, on the seventh day of Adventists we're called to be the depository of the truth. Now, someone from another church is teaching what we suppose to be teaching. Good for you brother, great is thy reward in the future immortal life.
Titus is right, and he has a tremendous amount of courage. God expects ALL of us as Christians to take a stand for truth and not to fall into peer pressure or follow the norms of the world around us.
It's sad, very sad to see some comments here against his recommendations, he didn't suggest Adventist dress like the Amish, but the point is modesty. Many of the SDAs will be 'cut off' thinking they have the truths but failed on the least.Let's take the rebuke humbly and seek to have a health and dress reform. Otherwise, pride we cost us heaven.
I am also wondering if the manner of immodest dress he refers to be unhealthy is high heeled shoes on the ladies. They ruin one's feet and thinking further on it are a symptom of vanity or submitting to the worldly culture. I enjoy his humble and thought provoking manner. We need more people like this speaking out. Since I joined a Pentecostal church I dress more modestly and actually feel more feminine, not less.
@@cindylemaitre9488 I agree. Unfortunately the Pentecostal church hold many unbiblical false beliefs such as rejecting God's 7th day Sabbath as written in Exodus 20 and believing in the pagan Trinity god and believing that speaking unintelligible gibberish is of the Holy Spirit. All of those beliefs are deceptions and lies.
I do not speak for this young Man, but when he says "God is calling us to a higher standard", I believe it means that it is the best standard of ourselves, as God is, after all, in us, and to "walk with Grace" and "Walk with God", means to walk through life and strive to be the best version of yourself you can be.
I was for this too Titus for a long time until my own family disowned me to this idea and now I am a broken spirit and dying slowly hour by hour in my faith and I am wandering lost in my life thanks for speaking out
God loves you brother. Remember Elijah thought he was alone... You are not alone. Hold on. In heaven and the earth made new you DEFINITELY won't be alone. And, you might be shocked to see family and friends who seemed to reject truth, were converted in their hearts later and are there enjoying along side you. Please keep going. We're almost home! 🙏😊👍
I admire that Hes standing firm and making the bold statement about dressing immodest … but let’s not forget about what the Bible says about long hair as well … js let’s go all the way with it… 🙌
Indeed, the standards in mainline and independent SDA movements are far too low. Titus has inspired me to take dress reform, health reform, Sabbath reform, etc, to a much higher level. May Jesus lead me by Your spirit to listen to Biblical and SOP instruction and be obedient through Your strength to the honor and glory of Your name and Your Father's name. Amen
I have always felt this. I rarely go to church now, but I feel sad when I see young girls in tight and revealing clothes, backless dresses, and low cut necklines. I don't judge them. They're just young. The older women should know better. But the weeds will grow with the tares, and it's up to people who love God to set the example. The young man speaking makes a good point. There are so many reasons not to invite non-Adventists to church. There should be none.
Praise God, warn them in love about the truth. Today's church is full of the world, and disobedience. May Yeshua the king guide and speak through you and use you as a light in a dark generation...
What a call !!!! you hit that right on the nose buddy. hope all our young ones will hear and pay attention to the instructions and adhere to. Praise God 🙏..
The sad thing is; I felt like she blew him off. That is why; I left the conference. I am still SDA, but no longer in the conference. I am they would call me an Extremist now.
Praise God for His comment! What a wonderful godly young man to take such a stand! God has given us a very detailed Dress Reform message but unfortunately most do not recognize it! May God help us! 🙏🙏🙏
Amen Titus!! Hope they have done this seminar, because we see more and more unmoral dressing of man and woman in church, and i'am talking about reformed as well.
So good to see someone talking about dress code. Maybe things change but men and women should still not be wearing each others clothing. See Deuteronomy 22:5
Totally agree. I used to justify pants until I read the Spirit of Prophecy for myself and God convicted me. Now my husband and I are adamant about our 3 year old dressing according to God’s standard daughter. May the Lord help us all.
a few hundred years ago men, such as the Founding Fathers of the US, frequently wore high heels, wigs, makeup, and tights. are they all burning in hell for wearing womens clothing?
I am curious is he addressing just women? Are the women advised to only wear long dresses or are they wearing jeans? I will probably never completely go to dresses I don't care for them and I am comfortable in jeans but y'all can wear whatever you want. I wont ever be dressing like a pioneer.
@@joebeefhash3455 Make that 2 "ho's", if feeling more comfortable in jeans is your standard for making that assertion. Think for one second rather than letting someone else's notion of what constituted modest dress: Do you really think that a dress is more modest than a pair of pants/jeans? If so, please explain it. When I wear a pair of britches, I don't have to worry about going up a flight of stairs and what the folks underneath might see, I don't have to worry about the wind whipping my dress over my head and leaving nothing to the imagination, and if I fall, I know that all the bits are covered no matter how I land. So tell me again why dresses are more modest than pants?
@@joebeefhash3455 Who is telling you that you can't wear a dress? I would be absolutely delighted for you to wear a dress, if you would feel more comfortable wearing one. Go for it! No other human has any right to tell you that you cannot wear one. I've seen men in dresses and skirts (in many cultures, men wearing dresses is completely the norm), and I don't think twice about it. What is important is that you feel comfortable in whatever you wear. I support you -- go put that dress on!!
@@joebeefhash3455 You want to wear a dress. Buy one that does not belong to a woman, and wear it, and be happy knowing that you are not wearing a woman's garment. Just like I wear women's jeans and women's pants. I have never worn men's pants! Out of curiosity, what do you think God would do to a man who did wear a woman's clothing? Or to a woman wearing a pair of pants that belonged to a man? Do you think that a sin would have been committed? Would this sin be worthy of eternal hell fire and damnation?
@@joebeefhash3455 I'm starting to get the feeling that you are uncomfortable engaging in discourse with another woman. I am sad that you feel intellectually threatened. Maybe you would be happier and feel less insecure if you tried on that dress that you have expressed interest in wearing. (I'd suggest buying one new, to make sure it never belonged to a woman, to be on the safe side, if you really do think that you are interpreting the Old Testament scripture you quoted correctly. )
Praise God for this young man. Unfortunately, the SDA church believes we are increased with good and have need of nothing. Study ezekiel 9. It will be literally fulfilled. ❤🙏
Thank you Titus for calling this out! It takes being Born of G-d’s Spirit to accept and implement modesty into our lives, and this is what is not happening in Churches today, including SDA. “Lest you be born again…”-most remain unaware!
We are allowed to call upon God's name and have Jesus/YESHUA as our friend and redeemer. You are allowed to write GOD, full out. He is our Heavenly father and wouldn't mind us calling Him by name. Shalom 🙏
Well spoken Titus and he is spot on. I am glad he has not been to the beach like I have with Christians to see the dress, or more properly said, undress that so many Christian women don. It is often less than bras and panties and I am not being hyperbolic. I am amazed and stupefied how this has become accepted AND defended! At this point, I don't know why any clothing is needed because so many women are more naked than clothed (esp. at the beach) as it is (I do believe men should be covered btw). What likewise troubles me is that Orthodox and Hasidic Jewish women are totally modest in their dress and that of their children. You will NEVER see them immodest in the slightest of ways. Whether it is at the beach or walking the streets or in a store shopping, they are fully covered and look like women. Their beauty is not hidden but it is concealed. I write that this troubles me because we as Christians call Jews to repentance and profess that we have the truth and are the wellspring of Godly knowledge, yet many, many women professing to be Christians wear less clothing and show more of their bodies than a harlot on a street corner. Provocative statement; yes, truthful, yes. I can only think of Romans 2 where it is written, "And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself?" It is high time we teach ourselves for truly..."the name of God is blasphemed among the [Jews]" because of our nakedness and clear violation of the letter and spirit of the Word to be modest, covered and not naked. They have to look at us and say if that is what their G-d permits and approves of, we want nothing of that. And I don't blame them one iota.
Titus Morris is not Amish. He cones from an Amish community, and he dresses as an Amish man might dress, but he is no associated with an Amish community.
God calls us to a higher standard and to be peculiar, to be in the world but not of the world which Titus has done s good job of. He has his way of living and dress for a reason, and I don’t think he’s calling us all to his way…. But the older I get the more simplicity has it’s draws. With that said we also need to not set ourselves apart that we would turn people from the truth for our own appetite of being peculiar for the sake of drawing attention.. I don’t see Titus as this but it’s a way unbalanced people can damage the gospel call… we need to hold to the standards God has called us to.. and being there at that session I can agree with Titus. Keep in mind many of these young people attending are still on milk and haven’t gotten to the meat because of the lukewarmness in their homes, so if we’re doing our job well we can introduce them to meat in due season.
Good for him! It is so appalling to see how SDA people dress, it is offensive to God and to many of us that have come from extreme liberalism to the fold of God. Let us be obedient and holy, like the people from the book should be.
@@midwestplantgeeks8643 Not at all. Just being Biblically modest -not swimming with our behinds and everything else out for the world to see. Not showing up for "worship" dressed like a whore, or like we just left the "night club"! It's really not difficult.
I know that this man probably received a lot of eye roles in public, amongst peer pressure and society.... Truth - How we dress our bodies, how we treat our bodies could demonstrate the attention, understanding and wisdom that the "person" realizes that their body is a "Temple of God". With that, the Holy Spirit is more welcome and invited, and the Lord is pleased in this personal understanding, because it is true!
Men and women have lost dignity by wearing inappropriate clothing. It is more suitable for the beach than the city. Decency and pride have been lost. A sense of occasion, and knowing what is acceptable for that occasion has somehow been selfishly blurred.
I watched a RU-vid video of a day spent with this gentleman. He is a very special person. I don't believe that he is Amish or Mennonite but he lives the lifestyle along side with them in their community. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ir3eJ1t13fk.html
I love the way he articulates himself and acts respectfully to others beliefs. I honestly don’t agree with most of what he says but you can tell he absolutely believes in everything he says. Respect.
OK, so I grew up SDA from the age of 9/10 till about 16. Then I lost interest in Christianity. Now, that I have come back to the church, I often wish that the message had been explained to me better. Like via the good person test, would have been good. But yes, this man is correct, back in the late 60s and early 70's there was a lot of immodest dress to be seen at church and at the SDA high school, I went to. With the benefit of hindsight, this did not encourage the love of God that we really needed to be learning. If the Amish can understand it, then so could have those of us growing up in the church, if the message of modest dressed had been in our lessons. In so many ways, the church was failing its youth.
We are in desperate need of more 'TITUS' type Men-Jesus followers yes. Obedient unto 'God' ~ Men ...Those holding a most Gentle Strength Soul ... Thank you for sharing!
omg that's Titus I knew he was one of us! I should learn from his example. I tend to wear long shorts and big t shirts rather than dress more feminine, but it's a comfort issue. I keep telling myself that it's good because i'm not showing off my body so it's modest, so it's therefore good. But it's also not feminine, which we're asked to dress feminine as women.
Where did trousers originate? Same as abortion I say once we understand the root and what God’s Word says of it no excuses makes it. I was once there too with make up fake hair and all. But once I heard testimonies of people who’ve been taken to heaven and hell and the Lord showed them. I had to stop immediately. It reminded me of the story of The rich man and the beggar, at the end The Lord says even if someone died and went back to tell them they wouldn’t believe. What a sad statement
Hosea4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. " God's people have the knowledge but have rejected. and He will reject those that have rejected it. He will spew them out of His mouth.
Except, he's not Amish. You guys are misrepresenting and assuming a lot about this man. His name is Titus Morris; just a Christian trying to follow God's word.
Kudos to this young man. The church fathers endured hardship and perseverance for many years while they studied, fasted, and prayed in order to forge the doctrines we should believe (2 Thessalonians 2:15). Doctrines from society and other churches have "crept in unawares" (Jude 4), and have poisoned the denomination and sanctioned by Adventists who know little or nothing of the Bible (Hosea 4:6). Our manner of dress and deportment (1 Peter 3:3-6) should be a light "set upon a hill" (Matthew 5:14). The jewelry worn "is useless" (4T p. 630), and bears a "wrong influence" to others outside our faith. We ought to "earnestly contend for the faith" given us from the beginning (Jude 3).
Titus was having S*x with HORSES 🐴 when he made this speech. He was smack dab in the middle of his 13 year run with horses. He is openly admitting to it in court video as well as now stealing his best friend’s wife. SHAME ON YOU TITUS
SHAME! This is Shameful! I'd be so embarrassed if I was there. I really believe there are so many people who would love to be sda but the actual professed sda's are putting them off. It's time for all the REFORMS.
