Rapper Young Chris of State Property sat down for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he started off speaking to Shawn Prez about being part of hip-hop history alongside fellow Philly rapper Freeway. From there, Young Chris spoke about living in North Philly growing up, where he excelled in school until he started getting in the streets in high school. During the conversation, Young Chris spoke about his friendship with Neef Buck, which goes back to childhood, and Chris revealed that Neef got him into rapping. Young Chris also detailed watching Beanie Sigel come up in Philly, watching him sign to Roc-A-Fella, and how he linked up with Beanie to form State Property. Moving along, Young Chris detailed meeting Jay-Z, Beanie Sigel’s beef with The Lox, resolving the beef, Jay shouting him out in “Takeover,” and being around during Jay-Z and Nas’ beef. Young Chris also detailed his time at Roc-A-Fella, doing the “State Property” movie, and various members of State Property getting into legal troubles.
