That’s going to be a dominant male there ! Keep an close eye on him cause they can get a little bit to agro when they get there little humps .. I also feel that with cichlids that grow the humps they get very aggressive and I believe Testosterone drives them mad causing the hump got grow
Yeah, he has become quite a male. This video was 3 months ago, now he is much bigger and has quite a nuchal hump. As far as aggression goes I have converted the tank into all male because the females were driving the males crazy. I am glad that the males still have their humps after removing the females. Parents were convicts that were carrying Honduran genes. If you watch my older videos you will see the parents. They basically produced 3 color morphs. Most of them looked like normal convicts and remaining were pink and blue. I separated the blue ones to see how they would look as they grow.
