Yes I love the light heartedness it was like that in the early live action series of the flash and then it suddey got dark and virtuous. Plus, the animation flash and the whole squad are generally light hearted or humourous. It's like once the writers go dark they keep missing the mark 😩

Young justice s1 and s2 was light and funny, but the recent seasons were darker. I really like it but I want more of the original team, like more of nightwing, superboy, artemis, aqualad ect.. I like the new group of teen heroes but I feel like there's too many😂 and too many backstory. I really want nightwing to go on regular missions instead of superboy or his girlfriend + we need more explanation/details about Oracle.

Yeah the first two seasons managed to hit that darkness and comedy balance just right. Season 3 had it's moments but it leaned more on the darkness. As for season 4 I know it's dark too but I don't know about the comedy as I've only seen clips.
