Let's be real...Conner Kent should have the next Superman...nothing against Johnathan but he's definitely not ready to feel those shoes...Conner definitely has the experience and battle harded and he can be a great leader ...it should of went Conner Kent as Superman training/sidekick Johnathan kent and stayed as Superboy the Same way Nightwing became Batman and Damien stayed his Robin when Bruce seemingly died in final crisis

If only they had kept Johnathan as a Kid then this would have worked out great. Sadly ageing him up really ruined his character. He just kind of feel like a replacement for Conner rather then the Third Gen that him and Damien were building to be. We even saw glimpses into the Future that Conner was going to be Superman next. Deceased is the only version of Johnathan that I feel is still done right.

@@nobalkain624 THIS!!! I have the belief that Tim’s generation should take the mantles/place of the Justice League if they ever needed to. And Jon was great in dceased bcuz we saw how he grew into the Superman role.

@@goat-min1414 While I really do like the Deceased version of him, it also creates a HUGE error in Continuity that I dont think has ever been addressed. Since he was the Son of Pre 52 Superman he should be the only Jon that exists in the Multiverse since there are no other versions of that Superman or Lois. Honestly I like that version so much that I just ignore it, but the Old School Fan in me still wants DC to explain it.

But shouldn't it? The entire New 52 was a failed attempt to make comics more like the (at the time inchoate) film universe. Most of the characters haven't really had any personality since Flashpoint. Let this universe die. I don't even care if the old universe comes back so much as if this one disappears.

@@CrownMe13 This aberration (i.e., everything since Flashpoint) should have never existed. It really was just there because they wanted the comics more in line with the adaptations, especially that new movie where Superman really likes the Fountainhead.

Now that I have been watching your videos I didn't realize my son knew Wally West as the Flash, not Barry Allen. Then they brought him back but a little too much time since the crisis. I think I accepted he died in the most heroic fashion but... I didn't continue with wally. My Flash was Barry... Ok but the problem was the cw series... And justice league.. Since I was like "son o' mine, Barry Allen was so cool and..." "Yes whatever dad ". (that Barry Allen sux... But I don't have the heart to tell daddy and break him down) And I was like... 😳 Son... I swear.. Barry wasn't like this... Read the comics PLEASE! 😭🤣

I dunno, I liked it. But that's because I'm mean-spirited about some Batman things in general. Like I loved how Bruce's weird homophobia "Steph is your destiny." mirrored "The thing with the alien won't last." (Yet another cursed DickBabs retcon.)
