@@teleportedbreadfor3days first they mention that she does exist, introduced the Phantom Zone, mentioned the Daxomites, the Legion are prominent in this Season AND they showed a Brainiac when talking about Lor-Zod's Backstory. All Supergirl related. Toma-Re's line about regretting not more of the House of El is alive is foreshadowing for sure. I suspect, while exploring a phantom zone projector's files, somehow, they would see Kara's DNA. She could be in suspended animation. Could be a last-minute attempt to save her, after her father realized Jor-El was right!

I love that Orion changed his mind about Halo when the family bit was mentioned, despite Rocket not expecting that to happen so easily. Maybe she'll tone down her harsh attitude if he keeps subverting her expectations. 😂 That said, poor guy has no patience for casual conversation. 😅

In Rocket's defense, she likely misunderstood Orion's comment about that morning as a straight up dismissal. That said his frustration of the casual conversation in that moment, no matter the reason he had, was understandable, and his snark leading up to his dismissal of the whole discussion what amusingly relatable. 🤣

Orion may be a hardass with hardly humor and strictler for rules but he is not ungrateful, the fact his adopted family has made him feel love and understanding makes some of his age dads behavior more sense He is ruthless to much because he is so loyal and thankful to his Adopted family Bear is still my favorite New Gid, boisterous and great, to even hear his tone shake in sadness shook me Superboy may not have understood it, but he had affected more people then just earth. No wonder the League of Superheroes looked up to him, he affected all across space earth and culture

Rocket isn’t looking at reason. Halo literally is the missing piece too the anti life equation and got kidnapped one season ago where half the justice league was put under granny goodness control and is now just chilling on earth. What’s stopping the furries or darkseid from boomtuning to her house and taking her again in a few seconds. It literally would get her family and friends killed

I've been seeing people say that Orion is completely right in saying how their conversations were meaningless, but I'd wholeheartedly disagree. It's talks of familiarity and common ground that can open someone up to empathy and collaboration. Before, they were discussing matters as if they were all just faceless factions, that inherently their personal agenda mattered more than the others. But having Bear break the ice was pretty much the perfect thing to get things actually moving. Now, I can't say Orion is wrong of course. Cause, that's sort of the point of his character in this arc. He's pretty much an allegory for someone on the spectrum, so it's completely understandable that his priorities are pretty different and a bit inflexible. But obviously he still has a heart, relenting almost immediately when Halo's family was mentioned.

1:21 I loved this scene because it really brings home just how important the original team is in this universe. Here Superboy is the New God's first introduction to Earth Heroes and we even learn he inspired the legion. His supposed death (this whole season mirrored the death and return of Superman) sent SHOCKWAVES throughout not just the hero community but this entire universe. That's normally reserved for Superman.

Might be a doomsday reference! He might've been made on krypton but he has no genetic relation to supermans species, (some adaptions miss or change this point.) though i'm not sure if people knew doomsday was from krypton during his initial rampage in the universe. My second best guess might be the Cleric. An alien man of faith who had a following on Krypton for a while but left before it's destruction. Could also be a Lar-on reference! Guy who use to be kryptonian but has genetically mutated into basically an alien werewolf. Though that one would be a big stretch.

Interesting here that Rocket missgender Halo. She use "her familly" not "their familly". Don't know if it's an intentionnal mistake from the creator, to show someting about rocket or that she is not aware of Halo new prefered pronouns or if it's just the creator of the show made a mistake in writting the script.

Halo only recently transitioned to being non-binary so Rocket may not have heard the news or Halo hasnt come out to her super friends just yet. It's not like Rocket and Halo are on the same super team.

So at what point was Orion "trying" here? The only redeemable thing he did was drip the request for Cyborg and Halo but he's been an aggressive, obstinate rage machine every other time. I want to know at what point did Rochelle _see_ Orion try because I've watched the entire arc and this was the only redeeming thing he did. It's not enough.

He was kinda right at the end. The conversation was quickly devolving into a meandering mess of gossip. They were there to discuss a treaty, not have a fucking lunch date. Just because you don’t like his tone doesn’t make him wrong.

Oh god I’m tired of all this wokeness and Unnecessary humor they hinder the story a lot and we should just focus on the main story.Orion also has a point of halo was on earth some one like darkseid or Stephenwolf would kill her family and take her to apocalypse better leave her on new genesis so she doesn’t end up getting captured easier
